By the way if you dont have a stick like prybar used, Then look in your tool box for a long enough extension for a ratchet set. I just zip tied the 10M wrench to that. Just an idea for you guys.
Alrite just installed it this way and it works great with after market washers. I wouldn't use the stock washers with the kit, Cause on the 2nd attempt opening it it snap the inside washer lol. Otherwise it seems like a great fix now:waytogo:
While were on the subject of the cut-out, do any of you guys think the truck is alil slower with the dump open? Cause when I have mine closed it feels like it's got alil more power. J.M.O. Your guys thoughts?
Hey swoop do you have part numbers for what strip you used & did you wire urs up the same way as Ironman? One more thing did you have to shave some of the reflector for the light to go through? Im not sure if I wana make those into turn signals or just running amber lights. Hmmmmmm...
Rite now im just using Aux 3 & 4. Aux 3 powers my electric cutt-out and I use a separate switch to open & close it. And Aux 4 is my Blue EL Glow tape behind the SVT vent. Aux 1 I plan on doing a M&R 40" behind the grill and Aux 2 maybe lights under the rear bumper
You just have to push and hold in the button to make the lights turn on. It will first brighten up all the back lit gauges then it will turn on ur accessory lights. It mite take a couple of seconds for them to turn on.
