My 2012 SCAB and 2018 SCAB have been just fine for my 8 & 10 year old. Saying you 'need' a Screw for kids is just non-sense. You can make it work, if you want.
Same issues with mine. If I use the touch screen it can take 8-10 seconds for it to respond. My phone disconnects every few minutes now.
Even XM radio alerts are messed up. I can dismiss an alert for a song/station and it will be back in 15 seconds. Dismiss again, back in 15 seconds. Super...
I've been in Texas 12 years now, and never had a plate. Even when pulled over, it has never been mentioned. No one in my county cares, they have better things to do.
You've probably seen me. I travel in from Driftwood to the capital every day for work.
I'll agree to disagree on the crew cab. My wife and 2 kids fit fine. My 2012 SCAB fit them fine for 5 years. This one is doing just the same :)
I love how many SCABs are here, in this thread!
Hell, in the greater Austin area, I've seen one other SCAB, and it had a Colorado plate! It's nice to be different!
BTW could y'all picture Ivan Stewart racing a Screw? LOL Hell no!
I've got a question about ride height.
If I go to Deavers (+2), Geiser springs and Toyo MT 37s, what is the ride height on the top of the cab? My parking garage at work has a height limit of 7'2" and I'd prefer to stay within that if possible.
Thanks
