Yea I'm really on the fence here... I feel like the truck makes enough power it just has horrible throttle response.
In the past I was the first person to tune and bastardize my vehicles warranty be damned but as I get older I am thinking of how nice it is to keep my warranty.
I may do the PC...
I really hope I'm not jinxing myself here....
TX requires me to have one but I have never had one on my last 5 vehicles and I have never got in trouble for it either.
This is typically caused by a plugged drain on your AC system (the puddle that usually forms under the truck when AC is running)
I've seen this multiple time in other vehicles. I'm not 100% sure where the drain is located on the Raptor so you may have to poke around a bit. It is almost always...
Kind of looks like the milkshake you get when coolant mixes with oil. Did you pull the dipstick and check it out?
Other than that it could be some kind of bearing grease? Problem is I cant think of anything in that area that uses a grease like that.
Hopefully you just ran over something...
I set mine up in about 15 minutes and it works great.
It is not complicated.
You just need a tape measure. You will be measuring trailer length, width, distance from camera to sticker and distance from ball hitch to sticker.
Just make sure you are parked on a level surface AND FYI...
Gents, I'm about to pull the trigger on the MPT tune and need your input.
The throttle response lag on this truck annoys me, will the MPT tune improve the throttle response significantly or should I pick up a Pedal Commander at the same time?
Edit to add (before I get flamed): Yes I am aware...
Yea I see what your saying Eric but I have to agree with DF too... I have not come anywhere close to finding the limits of my current shocks, maybe that makes me a mall crawler haha.
But in all seriousness they are just shocks which are easy enough to upgrade and these new ones will probably...
This might be really petty of me but I'm glad theres no big changes.
I just picked up my 18' SCREW 3 weeks ago and it would have kinda been a kick in the balls to see some crazy new changes.
Also,
I guess the "trail mode" 0-20mph cruise thing means that the 2019's will have the adaptive...
Jeez....
I literally had a stage 1 Whipple kit in my shopping cart until I read this post.
Not being easily able to restore stock tune is a deal breaker for me.
Thanks for the post.
I dont care if they do or they dont.
I couldn't be happier with my new 18'
Literally better than my old gen 1 14' raptor in every single way except the exhaust sound and honestly I dont really care about that.
So weird....
I thought I was imagining it at first but yes it happens to me too.
Sometimes I go to get in and my seat is leaned all the way back, almost blamed the kids at first.
First off I am so sorry if this has already been asked, I searched but found nothing relevant.
So in the radio equalizer settings, every time I adjust the bass and whatnot the stock radio sounds better...
But then after I turn off the truck and get back in and restart the truck all the...
I got it from the owners manual in my 2018 Raptor.
I just looked up the technology package on th 18' F150 and the 18' Raptor and I'm not seeing any differences?
Maybe I'm missing something obvious, I dunno.
Per the owners manual it is a 3 step system that escalates based on the situation.
Step 1 - driver alert alarm
Step 2 - primes the brake system
Step 3 - collision imminent, brakes apply themselves
New to the forum and figured this is the place to ask a question...
I'm picking up my new Raptor Monday when it hits the dealership (wife thinks Im going to run errands LOL), and I just looked at the digital window sticker.
I'm picking up a Raptor because a car seat renders my GT350...
