Won't lie, this thread of issues, along with the additional list in the gen 3 list, has me really worried. My MY22 arrived with a laundry list of issues, and quite frankly, I"m not in the mood to deal with it again. I asked my dealer to pull my order and we can try again in MY25. I'm really...
I overall salute your effort. I wouldn't do that, personally, but I trust my tech more I think, he does my Raptor, Shelby, and Bronco. I'd rather him just do the work then me ripping my brand new truck apart. But I get it. It really bums me out how this has gone with QC lately. Its made me...
Thats been true on every model year since MY22. However, on my MY22, like many in this thread, we have swapped over the HVAC stack so that we have functional digital dials.
I was wondering if that same stack could be used on the MY24, or if the plugs/connections were different and would...
I'd error on the side of caution with a box trailer. With the stance of the truck, getting between the wheel arches and getting the doors open without causing any damage is going to be a real roll of the dice.
Stick with an open trailer or go get it yourself. Cover the entire front with...
Has anyone done this with a MY24 truck yet? Debating to do it yet again when my MY24/MY25 arrives, and looking for confirmation that the parts are compatible.
Dear Frank, please use the search feature, you will see many great tips, including how to overpay a dealer to skip having any patience.
Best of luck! haha
The consistent listing of people saying issues with the R button is weird. My R button on my MY22 works all the time.
For your auto door locks, did your installer attempt to pop the cover off the door? I've never put PPF on my door handles. After 2 years, my doorhandles still look like new...
You didn't really have to do that haha.
That said, I hope for your sake that the issue is entirely phantom. My butt dyno has caused me to trade at least 1 car in after feeling there was something wrong and the dealership couldn't "duplicate" the issue. So I certainly get it.
This seems like pointless speculation, especially since you don’t even have a CEL and the only flag is the butt dyno. Make an appointment and let us know.
The punishment of an early adopter?
In all honesty, I think the days of a "model year" are pretty much gone. Think about how the cost changes several times during a model year, and back in 2018, that wasn't a thing. COVID changed a lot, and this is the new norm.
Does your driver side work? If the battery is low, the first thing it does is shuts off the keyless entry on the passenger side. Its a ford thing, both the Raptor and the GT350 do that.
My 22 37PP will literally drain 1/2 the battery in 12 hours or less...if....the key is within 20ft of it. I have to store my key across the house up 2 floors in order to keep it far enough away to avoid battery drain.
Keep in mind, if you already have surface rust, just washing it will not be enough prep. You will need to wash it, then sand down any rust, then repaint it. Maybe with this stuff you can skip the repaint prior to application? But you gotta sand that rust away.
