Thank you, this was helpful. I do agree on the battery range. I saw the 390mi battery is coming, but you sacrifice 30 miles of range just to have offroad tires.
Overall, i think you will need an ICE around for the near future for more reliable drives, but the EV can offset your other...
I have been looking at the R1S more and more and have found it to be a little concerning. A lot of the reviews mention oversteer occuring very easily, which makes me think the car is not coordinating the 4 motors properly. The infotainment is pretty weak, not containing apple or android car...
I believe the answer you are looking for is, YES, the phaser issue does not impact Gen 3 (at least that owners have seen thus far).
The rest of this is all gen 2 discussion.
Can you confirm this please? If so, you are a life saver.
Also, how close does this come to the ambient lighting already in the truck?
The USB port there i believe is for wired apple carplay.
Ok. Understood. it still looks like there is stuff stuck in the wiper on the piston. I would suggest spraying some water up there and trying to clean that off. If its clean, it may stop leaking. If its clean, and the leak continues, I'd say the wiper is shot and you're gonna need to rebuild...
It could be wiper leakage, but I'm more interested in the pitting in the chrome down at the bottom. Is all of the chrome gone down there? Are you driving in a manner where you would have the shock go full stroke? If so, and the chrome is pitting, it will rip that wiper right to crap, and yes...
Not sure why this is on a Gen 3 Raptor forum thread and not a specific Bronco6g forum?
Take it to a dealer. I don't want to sound unhelpful, but this seems very random and almost spam-ish.
I had a borla on my 4Runner years back and it was garbage. Tried to rust itself during the summer, and 1 winter in it looked like it had been on the car for 10 years. Fitment was questionable as well. Never again.
I put a Corsa on my gen 1 Raptor, and it worked great. i"m buying a corsa for...
My truck arrived with bed stickers scratched, scratches under the bed stickers, scratched fender flare, scratched bed paint. Truck had to go right to the body shop to be fixed, fender flare replaced, and have new stickers applied (one sticker was even peeling off).
Have had a JLT on mine since about 150 miles.
My old 6.2 used to fill a can every 2,000 miles during the winter months and only 1/3 of the can during the same distance during the summer. My wife's ecoboost explorer has a JLT on it as well, and it has little to no volume in the can after...
While our OEM exhaust is a good fit for the truck (unless it makes sounds like mine does), I was really hoping that Corsa would come through clutch and provide an option. However, I got an email yesterday that said they are pursuing other interests and will not focus any further development...
I would be interested in seeing this as well. Your effort would be VERY VERY much appreciated. I can't find a local shop around here that is willing to do the work, so it looks like I'll be doing it myself and a guide with a raptor would really help.
This. I regret trading my Gen 1 for my Gen 3. Not because there is anything wrong with my Gen 3, but I would have rather swapped my GT350 and kept my Gen 1 & 3....
Feel this hurt quite a lot.
I noticed a simliar thing as well a couple of times. I don't think the spirited driving had anything to do with it. Being that its coming from the back, I agree its a fuel pump thing most likely. It make that sound for probably 2 minutes or so and then disappeared. Shrug
