Rides awesome. I love every minute of it. I’m going to measure again today to see if there is settling. Might add a 1/2” or 1” plate to bring the front up even more to level out the rake without adding preload.
You're just transferring the board over from the current one, so you're not changing any circuitry. You don't lose any functionality. It does come with blanks for the fobs that wouldn't have those buttons, but if you push the blank one it would still work as the buttons are on the circuit board...
The last thing to do is to just pop the rear cover back on and you're all done!
First Impressions:
The fob case is very well designed, and tolerance seem great from an injection molding standpoint. Overall installation took maybe 10-15 minutes, another 10-15 to get the backup key out and...
Insert the battery into the fob case gently minding the tiny plastic tab that holds in in there.
After getting this far, I went over to my local ford dealership and asked them if the would cut the new backup key for me. The first dude said he had to ask the manager, but when the manager came...
Once you have that gasket in there, take the circuit board and place it into the front half with the buttons down. Press the circuit board into place and it should stay into the gasket.
Align the back onto the front piece noting the tabs and the hole at the top of the circuit board...
Hey Guys, I stumbled across this on my interwebs travels and thought I'd give it a try, give my review and a little HOWTO. It's an AJT Designs Injection Molded key fob.
First off, I didn't want to use one of my raptor-branded keys because you permanently destroy the original fob to put the...
I wanted a full 3" since I put the icon option 3 leafs in the back. Ride-wise it's not too big of a difference since these were set at the 1.25" when they were in my truck.
Just took these off my truck to replace with geiser springs. One of the bolts snapped so I’m including brand new 316 stainless screws. Looking for $175 shipped. Thanks!
I didn't even think about trying rit dye. Thanks for the tip. It looks like you can get replacement steering wheels for pretty cheap anyways if I had to go that route.
Ah ok. Thanks. Could still do a custom center section to one pipe I suppose lol
Btw I’m the Mike guy that’s been messaging with you guys on Facebook :)
Does anyone know if the non-raptor downpipes would work on a raptor? Obviously the piping from there through the resonator and muffler would have to be custom, but I like the idea of a single 3-4” pipe down the middle. Would save a lot of weight.
Pic of @CVF-Jason for reference:
I’m in the same boat as OP too. It’s been 20+ years since I’ve done aftermarket audio systems. My Harmon kardon system sounds great in my BMW X6 and honestly I thought the B&O system is pretty decent. The little tweaks are what I’m looking to do like the sound deadening/polyfill, maybe speaker...
My red center stripe has seen better days. Plus this popped up on Facebook ads so it made me curious. Would probably do it identical to stock as a refresh or maybe add some suede.
As title says looking to see if anyone as tried these. Not sure if they go over or completely replace.
