I'm in NOCO. Tough thing around here is finding the open space to do it with the Raptors. We off-road with our FJ Cruiser and some of the trails even get narrow for the Yota.
I agree, I should've been a little more detailed. "Hard" is a very subjective term. I would say it is more clunky than anything. It would hold 3rd gear and then thud into the 4/5 shift. Compared to throwing gears on the 1/4 mile, no it's not comparable. I would say it's definitely a software...
Has anyone else noticed hard shifting and some lag when you are cruising with only moderate acceleration? It seems my trans if very clunky shifting out of third and in the 3-4-5th gear range. If I'm getting on it, I don't really notice it.
I know there was a TCU update for the 2017's but I...
This is an installation issue. Very poor install.
On the Love Bug aspect, they suck big time and you always need to be careful during season. Their little guts are terribly corrosive!
Weight Distribution Hitch for sure. I towed my 28' car hauler with my GEN 1 without noticeable sag with a WDH hitch. When I moved it to the GEN 2 the sag was much more noticeable and I had to tweak my WDH setting.
Same experience here. I've purchased 2 Raptors and a GT350 since being in Colorado. Phil Long missed out on all... Last time I made an offer on a Raptor sitting on the lot they gave me the BS about how they are in high demand. Yet they still have 2017's sitting there. Sales guy was a complete...
I have a 1-Up, never had issues with the exhaust heat. If you IM me your cell I'll take some pictures of it installed this weekend and text them to you.
I don't think there is any chance you will get a high spot with the Adam's "Ceramic" coating. Totally different ball game than a true coating like CQuartz or similar.
I used the Adam's this weekend, it's nice but expensive for what it is. I got a free bottle and plan on going back to a ceramic...
I'm going to assume this has been modified at the dealer. This isn't how it left Shelby. My local dealer has one sitting on the floor and it's the standard NAV package.
Those are good points, but a RD is not "so 80's"... I commute on an interstate here in Colorado where people regularly go 10-15 over. I run both Waze and a R3. I regularly come across an officer running radar that isn't marked on Waze. Waze is only as good as other drivers put the data into...
I'll follow this as I've been running a R3 for sometime and looking to update to the R7. Have you checked any of the RD forums? There shouldn't be anything on our trucks that the F150 doesn't have.
They are matte... Do not polish them. If you polish you will have a very smooth, polished spot that stands out far more than the original scratch. Ask me how I know!
If you don't like swirl marks and don't want to "lock" them under the PPF you absolutely do want to do paint correction. Even a brand new vehicle is often covered in swirl marks. I don't think you completely understand what others are referencing on some of these big installs...
You are correct...
