Found what may be the problem. Intercooler fans. Does this need to be replaced or is it loose somehow?

Anyone know what sound this is? I’m 6 days into an overlanding trip. Do I need to come down from the mountains to have it dealt with? (Truck did take a beating yesterday on some very rough mountain passes. Rock, cobblestone trails for some hours.)

Yep. Looks like it was worth it...but also looks like it would be worth the $672 as well! My back was killing me after just trying to get all the bolts off of the beauty rings (seized, stripped, worn...).

:flipthebird: What he said up there. The fridge doesn't have to work as hard to stay cool since it's in climate control; it can plug into the DC outlet in cab; the compressor won't collect a bunch of dust from riding in the bed - extending the life of the fridge; I can open it and access it...

Dear lord, getting these beauty rings off is horrendous!! Had 5 of the bolts in so tight, heads stripped. Took 2 hours to get them off. Won't go into details of how, but it involved a breaker bar, 6 drills bits, a hammer and some fire. I dropped the spare to do that one as well, and the...
