I think that would depend on your dealer. I have a pretty good relationship with my local dealership but I don't know how far that'd go if a Ford tech came down..
That said, I put 37's on my 35.
Also went from a TRX (with a pitstop in a Bronco) to the Raptor. I got an offer during the covid craziness that I couldn't refuse. No regrets. It feels lighter and smaller, even on 37's. I usually run it in sport. You're going to love it.
I'm a fan of Retrax.
I've had 2 ProMX covers and went with a ProXR on my Gen3. I'm in the northeast and haven't had any freezing problems. Mine have always worked the way there supposed to. I'll add that I had a backflip trifold on my rebel a few years ago and I wasn't a fan of the way it...
Before I spent $450 for a new one of take it past a muffler shop to see if they can either break the weld or cut it a little farther up and put a coupling/extension piece, that would match the original length.
As all have said, you can definitely do better. I found a new 23 - 35” with an $85205 MSRP and got $4900 off last month.
And yes, no problem putting 37’s on a 35.
Edit - just saw you bought one. Congrats!
Tried and FAILED. I was desperate to get the salt off after an icy snowy week in NJ and attempted a local car wash. The pic speaks for itself. It had to be backed out and created havoc for them.
Yes, I got mine at the very end of December but he's called me twice since then with deals that fell through. Definitely give him a call. All we're msrp deals.

Hey Guys,
New '17 Raptor owner here. Picked up a Ingot Silver Screw from Koons Baltimore last week. It's my first Raptor and my first pickup. I'm coming from a lifted JKU Rubicon and I gotta say I love this thing!! Tons of power comfy ride and its BADASS!!!
Thanks for all the great info...
