I have to go with Smurf on the adaptive cruise. If you are out on the highway and come up behind slower traffic it does a fair job of slowing to match the speed of the vehicle ahead without giving you whiplash from braking, and once it matches the speed it is wonderful to not have to worry about...
You can spend the money on RapidTac if you’d like but it’s way cheaper to make it yourself:
4 drops liquid dishsoap (less is better than more)
1/2 cup isopropyl alcohol
3 1/2 cups water
use a fine mister spay bottle for the best results.
You can also purchase a vinyl application...
Yeah, zoom in and you can clearly see that the black edges on the so called stickers are the only thing with a sharp edge in the pic. Somebody computer generated the black background and the white lettering. I’d be interested to see the actual stickers myself.

I had it done on both mine and my wife’s. It took a couple of minutes and the tech just looked at the vehicles while they were parked outside in the lot.
Found out that the Raptor floats...at least on 18 inches of ice that is! It was time to take out the ice house, and the neighbor with the snowplow wasn’t around, so I made my own road. The snow varied between 12 to 20 inches deep and once I took the traction control off she blew through with no...
:snoopfacepalm:
And once again Jake comes thru with another incredibly insightful and helpful post. Thanks for the input, for those who might have missed the first hundred times you posted this pic...
As for the OP, both of our 18’s have the factory K02’s and are typically run in 4A...
Both of our 18’s automatically lock out the shifter if the fob is not present. I checked it before I started to hook up the computer and discovered that I didn’t need to change them over to secure idle. I hear what you say about getting stuck, but that’s why they included a key built into the...
One of mine had 11 miles on the odometer and the other had 17 when we picked them up. Of course it was the wife’s that had lower miles, the story of my life.
You are fixen to piss off a traffic homicide investigator, because his crash scene is gonna be a quarter mile long. Blow a non-speed rated tire and you are all done on a vehicle with a high center of gravity and long travel soft suspension at that speed. Please do your speed runs by yourself and...
I had a 97 Grand Cherokee that I should have gone the lemon law route with and (I didn’t learn my lesson the first time) a 2000 Grand Cherokee Limited that I actually did lemon law. I don’t know about their current reliability, but my experience was enough to keep me in Toyota’s until this year...
While there will always be a certain percentage of issues with any make and model of vehicle the only systemic Gen2 issue that I have been seeing here is MGD and his posts...
Living up north sucks during the winter months when it comes to keeping your vehicle clean. I had to wait for two weeks for the temps to get warm enough that the car washes opened up (self-serve and drive thru were all closed). It finally got warm enough yesterday to hit the wash, but by the...
I thank you all (except maybe MGD's brother Jake17), for your input and reasoning. I just got a call from the dealership and the truck is ready. We are heading down there tomorrow to make sure every thing is ok with the truck and if it is we plan on being owners of two 18 Raptors. At least I...
So my wife likes my 18 so much she has to have one for herself. Earlier this week I happened to notice one sitting on a showroom floor at a dealership about an hour and a half away from us so I went in and found that it is outfitted exactly the way my wife wants one ordered. I brought my wife...
Usually happens when you get snow on warm ground. It happens up here early in the season until the ground gets good and cold and then every little bit you get after that sticks immediately without thawing. Anything that doesn’t hold thermal heat (grass, shrubs/trees, insulated rooftops, etc)...
I’m conflicted on this one... It appears the striking vehicle could have limped away, so I agree, the kid wasn’t a complete idiot and stopped. However, the street is arrow straight and there is no indication of any braking prior to impact and no rotation on the striking vehicle until after...
