That’s interesting and you will get some more meaningful interaction with data.
So who has a decibel meter that can do the same in a Gen 3 that seems to function properly… as he described above? My exhaust modes on the 24 vary considerably… and I’d be shocked if didn’t produce a very different...
For the sake of argument… i don’t think they are entirely wrong. I believe the white chalky appearance is essentially the result of oxidation… a precursor to corrosion. Exposed aluminum has an affinity for oxygen which reacts to form the aluminum oxide. Yes it looks like $hit but it does...
Dude… saw them like that in rural India years ago. I feel like I’m a pretty good shot… but… I’m not sure I’ve got what it takes to send one down range accurately.
Let’s be honest, Raptors are not known for subtlety… most of us that drive them aren’t either. Everything from its aesthetics, capability, and yes… it’s sound (particularly Gen 3)… is bold. Like it or not, they’re definitely not for everyone. But for those who wish to complain… you’re not...
I had one too… nice… but not special. Traded on a 2019 Raptor… never looked back.., not once. Just traded 19 on a 24. No looking back still. 19 was best truck ever and I’ve owned them all. 24 destined to eclipse the former.
My dual valves are completely void of anodizing… and of course look white/crusty like you might expect bare aluminum to look. Interesting that OP’s single valves appear anodized or at least partially. @BigTaco inquired about the salt from early 24’s sitting. Mine was built late March and...
Sorry for the delayed response… so i did ceramic all around… 13% on the front two, 5% on the eyebrow strip on the windshield. 35% on the rear and back two. 70% on the moon roof… which is like no tint… just to get the ceramic heat rejection. If i don’t want to see out of the moon roof, i...
Where does one fill up on Unicorn Farts? Are they sold per fart or are they liquified and sold per gallon? I guess the real question is will mileage be measured in MPF or will we still be using MPG? Asking for a friend.
Is it Line-X? I’m sure they will mask. Just reiterate your expectations… keep it off the flares and suspension, etc. They will already be masking a lot for the bed.
There have been developments in grades and the use of advanced high strength steel that are being incorporated into more automotive designs for light weighting. Slow process with required tooling, validation and process changes. BUT… plenty of light weighting opportunities left.
I just paid $300… I’m on the northern KY side of Cincinnati. There is another Line-X on the north side that quoted $285 but is pretty inconvenient for me. These NKY guys also did my 2019 and did a great job on both… lots of masking, etc. I’ve heard anywhere from $250 to $350 depending on...
GoPro? Nether regions?? Ahhh i see where you’re going… You are suspecting the wife or girlfriend with the mysterious buzzing. OP… you can always count on your forum buddies to be… well… thorough.
Funny… i had to get my plates today. I went with black! It’s my little shout out to the fossil fuels and a F. U. to the green turds. I’m in the steel industry… we depend on it!
Yeah… I’ve not seen one either. Will be interesting to see what others say. I’m guessing it’s all pretty consistent results from truck to truck… and i wonder what actual specs are!
So it sounds like you’ve got this resolved… which is awesome… but let me at least leave you with something else to think about should you run into it again. Remember that your OEM wheels were hub centric. I’m pretty certain that neither your Methods or KMC are… rather, they are lug centric...
