Tagging for interest... I too leave mine in 4A quite often for the reasons you mention. Seems inane to me as well that they can build full-time 4WD and AWD vehicles and yet their halo vehicle with their most advanced transmission is not able to run in auto-select 4WD all the time.

Just saw this... Yup, mine is still available. 2018 Leadfoot, complete tailgate, loom, camera, etc.. Boxed up and ready to ship but the two folks who seemed interested have gone silent. No tailgate step on mine (much lighter at 49#), but with appliqué.

Uhmmm.... I think almost 100% of SCAB owners, and most of the folks posting in this thread think the SCAB is better. I could have bought a Screw a lot more easily than the SCAB...traveled several hours each direction to buy mine, and even flew to Colorado to look at one when I was still...

And frankly the primary reason I wound up with a Raptor...only trim level where you can buy this body configuration (SCAB+5.5’ bed). I really wanted one of the new turbodiesel F150s to build a hypermileing (1K+ mile range) off road adventure/overland truck, but “settled” on a Raptor. :D Still...

Bueller? Bueller? No one here with the plastic pan changes their own oil and has found a solution? I saw one post re: using the drain plug from another motor (2.7L maybe?). Not sure that’s an actual fix though.
