Not sure if he was referring to FTO or the tech doing the work. Definitely hooking the tech up wouldn't hurt.

I think it's worth it also. I was a detailer back in the 90's so I like to detail my own vehicles. It's therapy for me. If you have the equipment and the know-how then I say do it yourself. If not, get it professionally done.

Not sure about any extra functionality but it was only $12 so I figured what the heck. I decided to buy one to help them keep developing content and just in case I have to make a change for some reason. I know I can get a free license and I may do so once the year runs out.

Anybody know what happens when you switch your license to a new computer? Are the module backups still saved in the FORSCAN app? I bought a one year license and am thinking about getting a new laptop as my old one is super slow.

I read a bunch on the internet, watched a bunch of videos, and read the FORSCAN tutorial from the post on the F150online forum. I'm no techie either but it was very simple. I was able to use an old *** laptop(MAC user) that I had so all I had to buy was the OBD adapter and the one year FORSCAN...

Took a stab at FORSCAN. Did the Lincoln mirrors, double honk disable and upped lane change signals to 5 flashes. So far so good.
