Not using it will not stop the dust and dirt from getting inside and making it squeak and rattle. I never use mine and it will start rattling every now and then.

Check out a YouTube video. It’s fairly easy. You will need a pick to remove the plastic panel under the door handle that is hiding some screws. You will also need to disconnect a few plugs and the cable for the door handle.
If you can only have one vehicle a truck makes more sense. Especially if you are a homeowner or like traveling. For some reason I just don’t see modern vehicles as one day being collectible. With all the tech They just don’t age as well as the older cars.

Revert to stock. Let dealer flash new PCM software. Plug access port up your computer and update firmware of the COBB AP with latest update. Reflash GooseTuned file.
I just tried to schedule an appt to get the update and my dealer told me they are not performing the update right now as the update is inducing other issues.
The XM live traffic will just let you know that you are sitting in traffic. It doesn’t do a good job of routing. It will put you right in the middle of it and let you know you will be delayed. If you want better traffic routing then use waze or the latest version of Apple Maps. Plus built in...
