My 19 was built last September (last week of production for 19?) and at 8,000 and it most definitely has one or more failing cam phaser. Dealer diagnosed, area service rep confirmed parts on order.
Thanks for the suffix info.
Get the Icon springs now you will be happy you did. The sell a extension for the factory bumps for about $90 to get you by until up are comfortable spending the cash to get a true hydronic bump stop kit. The springs and lowering the air pressure will really help to stabilize the rear end.
@FordTechOne I think you mentioned a revision to the cam Phaser parts, my 2019 is waiting on back ordered parts to fix this issue, would the replacement parts be the revision parts?
Do you have new part numbers you can share so I can make sure the job is done once with the new versions?
That sucks! I ordered mine without a pano sunroof, one because when I have sunroof the shade is closed 90% of the time and two I never use then anyway. Also when ordering my 19 I declined the sunroof based on what I had read here on issues with the pano. I now have two cars without a sunroof...
I want this to be a cool truck and not a SUV joke. So far the speculation and the pics have been encouraging!! I had a Blue 94 lifted a bit and lots of cool parts on it. Four wheeled the hell out of it.
For some one who just can't bring themselves to like the Jeny2 this was a great truck to buy, I was watching very closely but figured it would go for big bucks. It was a carbon copy of my 2011 Gen1 it would have been nice to relive one of my all time favorite vehicles all over again.
I am getting Cam Phasers (warranty) for my 2019, the noise comes and goes. They are on order and I am the Q with 4 others before me.
I would be very disappointed by what you found with the Oil filter alone and would want to talk to the GM and owner of the dealer. They have broken the trust we...
2019 High beam trigger hooked up. So far so good but as of now I am only running one set of lights (2 LP6s) but should be adding 2 more LP6s, XL Lasers & 20" OnX 6 in a month or so.
Keith is a great guy and very helpful, he has a lot of these out there with great results if you are having a...
Installed these a few days ago and so far they are great! Ride isn’t firmer, less brake dive and bounce. On my 2019 before settling it was about 2” lift in the front after a few days it’s settled at 1.7” lift.
Height is usually not the problem its the width. If they have a guided wheel track then the truck is biased to one side (Pass side) and it is to close to the equipment on that side. Meaning that the Pass side gets more abuse and can even hit buy the structures holding the wash equipment.
You...
They are going to make a template of some sort to see if your tuck needs a new piece or can go with the old one since they have not found out when the change happened.
That is true because of the track and body width. There is always a risk of damage at a traditional drive though with any car/truck and it is increased because of the width.
I am all for hand washing but when its close to or below freezing sometimes its the only option Proceed with Caution.
My Gen1 fit in one regular drive thought near me but with the fixed track and it is way to the right. I had a white truck so the spider webs did not show and I wheeled it out in the spring. I met the owner of this wash off hours so he could measure the truck and then we tested the width in the...
