I think this is the combo makes sense. I'll be onroad 95% of the time, but I deal with serious fog fairly often. My dilemma is wanting all amber because it looks cooler to me, is that a bad idea?
Really easy. The replacement insert comes with proper body trim removal tools. There is a clip on the top and bottom you need to press in. Just apply some pressure with the plastic trim tool while pulling on the USB insert and you'll get it to release.
I can't find the other thread I posted to but the key is trimming ~1/2" off of the outer lip that tucks into the fender flare. It went smoothly for me since I had one other person helping me. When you are wrestling it into place it really helps to have another set of hands holding the liner still.
Super old thread but wondering how it went out in Hollister hills with the truck. I used to go driving in the park with my 99 Tacoma, but that was 15 years ago and don't remember if the trails were too tight for a Raptor.
Just move to CA and you'll be fine. But yeah like everyone said, not a good idea to install these if you ever want to clean behind them. I would not wish removing and reinstalling these things on my worst enemy.
Check out the document on post #1 on this thread. That's how I got it all done, took me about an hour of careful reading and a $40 Forscan adapter on Amazon.
Hey guys,
Took my first shot at forscan and did:
-Auto start/stop button disable
-Lincoln folding mirrors
-Engine temp # displayed on gauge screen
-Heated steering wheel + heated/cooled seats on homescreen
-Disable double honk
All the changes work great but I noticed when scrolling through my...
Thanks for the info. I'm looking to install the same camera, sounds like a really easy install? Did you remove any interior parts to run the wiring front or rear? Are you happy you did the rear camera? I am unsure if I really need the rear facing cam.
I had the same feeling about my 19, that originally the part around both USB ports lit up blue but then stopped. After doing some research here it turns out that Ford did away with the USB light in the hub on 19+ raptors. I ended up swapping the whole hub out for this...
I installed mine on Friday right before a good 500 mile weekend trip with some great backroads. I'm really loving the PC, it really let's lets you tune the pedal responsiveness to match your personal expectations for where / how you get your power.
Wow! That's a beautiful setup. What bed mat are you using? I've been in the market for one but it seems many don't line up with the grooves in the bed / spray on loner.
Absolutely. By the time you get the lip of the liner tucked underneath the fender flares it's not going anywhere. Honestly probably wouldn't ever move with no bolts in the whole thing.
