    Picked out and ordered materials today. I’m going to re cover the seats. Bohemian blue to replace the blue leather wrapped parts of the interior Pearl grey for the inserts. Need the truck here to draw out how we want to do the patterns but at least everything is on the way.

    Our gen 2 originally had regular clear bra before we switched to satin and it looked great over the graphics. One issue we had was with removal. When we took the clear bra off it took part of the stickers with it, so theres that. But over them it looked great! So easy to clean.

    Saw a few of us are doing satin clear bra as am I. We have to remove the graphics on the performance package to install it, thinking of buying some new bedside graphics and putting the Baja map over the top of the satin. Thoughts?

    Trying to figure out a cover myself. Really like the retrax one. Downside is losing bed space but I don’t ever really put anything in the bed other than the wife’s flowers twice a year! It’s expensive. Worth the extra money? On the gen 2 I have the Weathertech hard cover. Has held up amazing.

    I’ve got Baja everything on the Gen 2. I really like their lights so hoping they come up with a plug and play fixture to replace the rigids. I’d like to do something with the front end, but need to stare at it in person over a six pack to figure out what we want to do.

    off topic but got the gen 2 out and drove for a bit. I’m betting after driving the gen 3 when it comes the old truck is going to be like driving an antique!

    Here’s the messed up part. 701 is on strike in the CHI (going on 6 weeks now) So I’m glad truck isn’t here yet. No mechanics to PDI anything. Could you imagine how butthurt I would be if truck wasn’t here and I couldn’t pick up for weeks? It would be hilarious.
