Greetings fellow masshole - must be something in the air. I have had the dealer replace my grill lights (they are on one harness) and also the 2 on the flares. Mine were warrantied. The ones on the grill require the grill to come out so it is kind of a PITA. See if you can get your dealer to...
To add on that, wheel hop is very violent. We ran a DRW super duty out there once and the wheel hop was insane until we aired all 6 load E tires WAY down to about 8psi...then it had no problem at all.
I run the beach with very soft sand quite often and tire pressure is 100% critical. With other vehicles I have run down to single digit but with the raptor I have not been below 15psi
I think if you air down you will have a night and day experience
So hypothetically speaking - do you guys think it will be a performance version of the 7.3L engine? We all know they aren't going to put a heavier engine than the current one and also reduce the power levels....regardless if people want a V8 or not...whatever the new engine is, you can be...
anyone else having LED marker issues? I had to replace the Grill ones already and now I just noticed the driver side flare marker is out. Now that i look them, they are both full of moisture too so the dealer is going to replace both of them for me.
mine were gone before i hit 20k - i went Toyo as i couldnt bring myself to buy the BFGs even at a steep discount. 2nd set on two different trucks that wore out prematurely. too bad...
To help you explain it....
The lower the number, the faster the car will go with the same number of engine revolutions. The higher the number the better the car will accelerate, but at the expense of high speed cruising/fuel economy. Now for the confusing part of the story. A high numerical...
Heading to Moosehead this weekend. If you a see a black raptor with a gray 4 place inline behind it, that's likely me!! I am in Fort Kent for 7 days in a couple weeks as well.
I am in MA and we had some pretty cold temps over the weekend. Mine did the same exact thing and then went right away. I will keep my eyes on it - I dont recall it happening to me last winter.
Hey guys - Has anyone changed out the rear tail pipe sections with anything AM?? Looking for some pics to see how some of the AM tips look. I had an oopsie over the weekend and caught the left rear tip on a steep incline. They were chipped and fading anyway so I figure now is a good time to...
I stopped fussing with it - just remove the skid plate completely every time now and its so much easier. I like to take a good look around and wipe everything anyway....its only a few more minutes to remove it completely each time
Mine is black with black venomrex wheels and BD A Pillar lights
I agree with you, the truck with the 93 Cobb tune vs Stock is quite an improvement in my opinion. No dyno #s or time sheets to prove. The added response and power make it rather fun to drive for a truck
I am also Cobb Tuned but haven't tried the Cobb timer yet. I am curious now though... Also I am only about 15 mins from Rindge over the border in MA so keep an eye out for black screw!!! I spend a lot of time on the lake!!!!
WOW this got off topic. To answer OP - I have not personally but my best friend just scooped a 2020 diesel sport and he said it shifts super smooth and the torque of the truck is insane, this was my first question for him once he drove it. I would imagine I will be driving in the very near...
nice build here!!! did you purposely put in 2017 tail lamps?? i thought 2018+ all had blind spot lights
i like the all red tail gate too with no applique
I run them during the day and with the parking lights. They are bright but not too crazy. Without the amber covers would be too much at night to on coming traffic in my opinion
I am running the alternative mounts with XL80s. They throw an impressive amount of light, especially when you consider the light isn’t all that big. No noise or glare that bothers me, I highly suggest the upgrade! It took me a couple days just getting used to them being there. Dark roads turn to...
