I got into the habit to just remove the skid plate - it is an extra step but in my opinion it is well worth it once you are free and clear. It's only 4 bolts. I know people like the Fumoto valves but for some reason I just don't like the idea...I saw one fail once on a big truck which resulted...
Not quite true...the engine and trans are both Raptor or F150 6.2L specific. Not too many F150s were ordered with a 6.2L and not many Raptors make it to a junkyard regardless of condition.
The Superduty 6.2 is rated at 385hp due to the camshaft difference but you could make it work. F150s had...
As a life long MA guy and avid cape lover - KEEP IT. Race Point is a blast in a Raptor. NH and Maine can offer you all of the camping and outdoors that you can stand. Drive even further into Northern Maine and you can really have some fun. Summer and Winter. Winters can be long and tough - You...
Thanks for the response. I am interested in learning some more about your tunes - do you offer a towing tune as well? Currently when I tow I revert back to stock tune per Cobb suggestions. I may be interested in going the Goose route. I have read good things :)
So I have a Cobb AP and typically run the 93 OTS tune. I agree it did make quite the difference and the truck feels a lot quicker. But I am reading similar posts saying they are making 22-23 lbs of boost. I see 24-26lbs on my AP read out all the time. Am I making too much boost???
I have been trying to find a solution for the rear tips as well, I would like to just change the two rear tail pipe sections with the tips integrated. Just like factory without changing anything else.
Post up if you find something!! The factory ones suck. I am on my second pair at 39k and they...
I was...I wasn't privy to the knowledge I now have about off road lighting when I first purchased my triple fog kit. I put KC's in the bumper because I was familiar with the brand and they have been around forever. If I knew then what I know now, I would have went with BD. After putting XL80s on...
I will say I was in a '20 Sierra a few weeks ago and I couldn't believe how much better the screen resolution was. It was like when you saw high def for the first time.
Not much to be said about the rest of the truck though
Can't believe I just read all that lol
Though it was entertaining....
@CarbonFiber01 you buy the truck? It's OK if you did. It's a nice looking truck and you are entitled to spend your money as you see fit.
Love it!!
Also, am I the only member that isn't a professional photographer here???? I am starting to get a little jealous of all these outstanding photo shoots!!
I believe if you are spending $65k-$70k+ on a brand new vehicle, regardless of the brand, and it has a warranty issue.....you should be given a courtesy vehicle. Kia, Ford, Porsche....whatever. People buy new to avoid the cost of repairs and if the issue is a manufacturer's defect, I think it...
I know what you are saying...Mine is in today for the sunroof rattle and I am horrified that it will be twice as bad after the fact...or damage somewhere from taking something apart....but I had to do something, it was driving me nuts!!
Yep - no issues at all. I know the ride up RT 3 very well. I have a spot in Lincoln NH, I do Pittsburg a few times every year but I spend most time in Maine. Fort Kent is about 9 hrs windshield time for me and I do add Timbrens for that trip if I am fully loaded with 4 sleds, gear, guys...
