Geiser front springs on low perch, Icon rear springs with your factory block removed, make sure your shocks are in good shape. If you need a rebuild get the builder to add flutter stacks.
Somewhere around peak torque then. I wonder if pulling timing out in that area would help, not that it helps you now :( I look forward to seeing your new build.
Do the door seal mod if you haven't yet, that should help with wind noise. CLD and Hydrophobic Melamine in the roof, LLP on the floor and rear cab wall. You didn't specify which size truck you have but I don't think 40 sq ft is enough. If you haven't looked at it already this is worth reading...
Traction bars seem like a necessity if your going to beat on one of these, and when your talking about a blower it is an easy choice. They will preserve your rear end and help you launch. Plus they will make things a lot more predictable.
Roush trucks did not come with headers or OPG, just the blower and they work fine. Base those mods on your HP goals.
If I was doing headers, OPG and a blower I would seriously consider lifting the cab, at a minimum pulling the front clip. You will have better access to everything, it will make...
Fuel in oil is common in DI engines, especially if you are running primarily short trips. The gen 1 ecoboost had a TSB about it, I am not sure about the gen 2. When you are getting the oil starvation is it a single lap on the round a bout or is it sustained G?
The LLP is really nice if you can swing it. Remember you have to cover the entire floor for it to be effective, any holes are going to minimize the effect. You really should bring it all the way up the firewall and the back of the cab. Is your truck a crew or scab? If you are trying to...
Sometimes you can use tuning tricks to keep an engine alive and make more power than it "should". For instance the rods in a BBF are strong in compression and weak in tension, so you can make 800hp on stock rods if you don't rev it past 6k (use boost). Three valve mustangs have rods that are...
91 should be fine. I don't tow with mine so I haven't been able to log it. I have a couple of idea's for you:
Open up the hood vents a bit, they have some slotting on the bottom but there is not a lot of room for air to escape with the skid plates etc. It's a nearly free mod and I really...
I don't think its an excess grease problem, those are just a hall effect sensor. Try running a continuity test from the harness at the sensor plug to the PCM, if possible have someone wiggle the wiring while you are ohming. It is possible something in the wiring got accidentally damaged while...
It sounds like your talking about intake noise. If this is the Whipple whine your not "curing" it with a muffler... Stay out of the throttle to keep from building boost, or wear ear plugs. You may be able to get a custom airbox fabricated that will negate some of it. The nature of the Whipple is...
I run a 9 wide +18 offset and will get rub at mid lock. This is with a stock size Duratrac on bottom perch. You may be able to dial in a little extra caster to get away with it, but as @HORN HIGH ACES mentioned going to mid perch will be your best bet.
Gasoline, lots and lots of gasoline.
Tonneau cover and Auxiliary lighting, specifically the fog light pod location. That's all the accessorizing I have done and like them both.
Drive it. Nothing harder on a vehicle than not being driven! The short commute isn't especially good for it either, I can't imagine your getting up to operating temps in that time, need some heat in the crank case to burn off condensation, stretch its legs periodically!
406 ft lbs for the lower shock bolt.
Check the LCA bolts, they are tough to get tight enough (258 ft-lbs) and will cause your alignment to get messed up when they move.
Could potentially be the upper shock mount as well.
Chances are good you can just loosen up the connection at the collector it and wiggle the old gasket out and the new one in from the top. That's what I would try to start anyway, in fact I wouldn't even get under the truck to loosen that connector until I knew I needed to, I think there is a...
Use it like a gasket, just roll it out into a long thin rope and go all the way around. It will come off the paint with a little light oil or goo gone and some elbow grease if you ever need to remove it. This is pretty much the same stuff as what the rear window is sealed in with.
Standard automotive polish uses alumina which is a Moh's hardness of 3.4, and is friable (brakes down to a finer and finer abrasive as you work it). Glass polish uses Cerium Oxide which is Moh's hardness of 8 (Moh's is logarithmic) and is non friable. Since glass is Moh's of 5-7 an automotive...
After mine fell off on a trail run I ran Allen head bolts through with nylock nuts and washers on the back. Something like that should slow down or confuse someone enough to make them look for a different truck.
Before you go too crazy check the fluid level and bleed the system. It is possible you got air bubbles in there (working the pump with sustained G load).
