    RPG Upper Control Arms

The Raptor suspension attachments are just regular f150 pick up pick up points. They were not re-designed to handle big geometry changes. Billet UCA's with adjustments are not practical on a street-driven daily driver. EXO's videos confirm this. The majority of Raptors on the EXO & TRR tours...

What did u do to your raptor today?

I guess it's time to rattle can the frame, before hanging the coil bucket

That pile of metal used to be the D-side coil bucket. And those are oem vs KHC vs new UCA bolts. The new 12point are 3" shank, (next length available is 3-5/8" shank, is a bit too long), and rated at 175000 psi.

New to the Gen 1 and wanted to say hello.

1st Gen Broncos & Mustangs are classic vehicles which command $$$$$$. Both are sought after worldwide, with those big gnarly V8 sounds unmistakably part of the reason. The 1st Gen SVT Raptor is gonna be next. It's a simple, uncomplicated vehicle compared to the later versions. No kid grows up...

What did u do to your raptor today?

I want to see how the exhaust got there without wrapping under the frame..... (unless you hack through the bed and go over it)? I've got the MBRP dual tip exhaust on my '12 ecoboost and it has to hang under the frame rail to exit in front of the wheel. I wouldn't do that for a serious offroad...

    RPG Upper Control Arms

"There are kits to delete the slots. At that point you have to do you adjustments with the upper control arm. You could definitely do that with the RPG upper arms but Holy hell it would be a ton of work.." Yup.

What did u do to your raptor today?

I'm only able to drill the holes and then rattle can the frame, because they included hardware that isn't shanked correctly. WTF, it's not as if Raptor front suspension hardware will ever be put to the test. Back in the 1980's Chrysler CEO Lee Iacocca admitted that their QC was so bad that...

Dealer Bulk (“works”) used oil analysis

"I had the engine oil checked by Blackstone Laboratories at 4700 miles" (Google English translation)

What did u do to your raptor today?

D-side KHC bucket is fit, still have to drill out for the hardware. Time to (over)eat!

    GEN 2 Heavily tuned 3.5 grenades…

This is a 2012 3.5 ecoboost with over 200K miles. He previously did a 2.7 ecoboost teardown and admitted that it's not easy finding a blown up ecoboost motor. I guess that's good news?

What did u do to your raptor today?

Are Raptor bearings, seals, and the R&P the same as mere mortal F150 parts, or did the dreaded Raptor Tax apply?

What did u do to your raptor today?

The (silver) ABS controller is attached to the black steel frame bracket by a rivet on the bottom, (not visible on the diagram), so you can't slide the controller away from the bucket without bending the lines up to clear the frame.

What did u do to your raptor today?

I'm going to try using a 4-1/2" cutoff wheel & a Sawzall..... and patience. The plasma cutter is plan B if there's a spot I can't reach with either. The D-side has lots of clearance to the motor (due to the offset towards the P-side for 4wd). Those brake hardlines can be twisted up and away from...

What did u do to your raptor today?

Andddd... stops. I wrecked the 4" angle grinder discs.(Trying to use them in a 4-1/2" tool; couldn't find any 4-1/2"s around). The 6" angle grinder & the Sawzall only worked for cuts perpendicular to the bucket, too big to maneuver around everything else. Either way, I'm committed now.

That spare tire mount is really unique. I like that "think outside the box" design.

Raptor R and Bronco Raptor take class wins at Baja 1000

A lot of the courses are over actual roads driven by the locals everyday. In old beaters, definitely NOT in something like a Raptor. The scariest races were run before there was a way to monitor and enforce speeding on the highway; you were supposed to stay within the posted limit, but nobody...

    Do we wave?

Years ago an acquaintance of mine had a "tastefully modified" Rolls Royce. He mentioned going to the only RR dismantler in the state to get some parts, and the look of disgust and revulsion he got from them. That's the moment he decided to go full in; adding a complete roll cage, twin spare...
