My first Ravelco install was 2004-ish. I believe it was about $300 then. 20 years (and 2 Broncos, 1 Tacoma, 1Tundra, 1 Chevy 3500, 1 ecoboost f150 & 1 Gen 1 Raptor) later, I still think it's worth it, even with the price increase.

A Gen 1 Raptor is well over 3 tons with everything and everyone in it. I'd prefer to not buy a lot of top-end mods knowing I'll never get that money back, but any mods I'm doing are focused on how those 3 tons handle offroad and improving stopping distance, not how fast it can go.

At 3+ tons, turning big tires, the torque is the priority.

If this truck has the Deberti body and professional paint, at least there's an option to sell those ridiculous tires, wheels, & shocks. I'd keep the new brakes if they fit under 17's, check the service history (oem rebuilt trans?), go down to 37's, and obviously remove all the "Look At Me"...

I'm guessing the Gen 1 Raptor uses the same gauge & sending unit as all the other 2014 ford vehicles. Since this isn't a well known issue, across a million vehicles..... start looking at wire connections for a loose, rusty, or damaged ground wire. It's cheap & easy to do, and you might find...
