    Thanks for the info. I’ve run through all the gears while idling, but haven’t driven the truck yet. Disconnected battery yesterday for a few hours, wrench came back. Disconnected battery again and let it sit overnight, will reconnect later today and see what happens. Plan to drive it today...

    GEN 1 Bad Coolant Temp Sensor?

    Would this cause the electric fans to turn on immediately after start up on a cold 6.2L engine? Any thoughts/advice on troubleshooting? TIA!

    Electric Fans won’t shut off

    By disconnecting driver side transmission line in front of radiator, adding fresh fluid, starting truck to initiate flush, turn off, repeat until fresh fluid comes out of disconnected line. This was after dropping pan and installing new filter then reinstalling pan.

    2010 Scab...flushed tranny, replaced some Stainless Works exhaust parts with newer SW parts, fired it up, electric fans immediately kicked on (stone cold engine) and won’t shut off, wrench icon appeared. Any ideas?

    2010 Scab- finished flushing the tranny plus adding newer Stainless Works exhaust parts, fired it up and the electric fans immediately kicked on (engine is stone cold), would not turn off and the wrench icon appeared. In 10 years of owning and wrenching on this truck, never had this happen...

    So flushed the tranny and reinstalled newer Stainless Works catback exhaust parts. Fired it up and the fans kicked on immediately and would not turn off. Soon afterwards the wrench icon appeared. Any suggestions?
