If you want a loud, burble growl, then bolt on a pair of Stainless works S tube mufflers. Awesome sound, but I had to remove for my daughter as she is “borrowing” my truck for school. They are up for grabs in the for sale section.

Just wired into trailer plug so they come on when shift into reverse. Did not wire them to an up fitter switch.

Replaced my 10yo inoperable Rigid back up lights with a pair of the new generation...sent the old ones back to Rigid to test out their “lifetime” warranty

OK, figured it out.....I think fuse that came with kit must have been blown from the get go.....very difficult to see but after going through the procedure 3X, I think I also loosened the battery connection.....retightened both battery connections, replaced fuse with new and problem solved.

Followed the instructions step by step. Reconnect battery, turn key to start and power shorts out. Retraced the procedure, double checked that I cut blue/red wire, looks good, replace 20A fuse with a known good one, same deal. Not sure If I blew a fuse twice? Not sure what I did wrong...

I have a 2010, so yes Gen 1. Not sure if they fit your truck or not but no matter, not selling for $150 incl shipping, that’s a joke
