GEN 1 I don't understand how to adjust rear Fox 3.0........

Daniel, +3 on springs probably also means a higher spring rate. You'll need to adjust the shocks to compensate. I am sure the spring or shock supplier can provide you with baseline settings so you should start there. If you can't find any data I'd start somewhere in the middle and go from...

Cutting into rear bumper! Is it tough?

Word! I have lots of specialized tooling to service Ohlins shocks and forks. The right tool makes a huge difference.

Cutting into rear bumper! Is it tough?

Yes, every time I use it. It cost me $24 I think so no surprise. I usually never buy cheap tools. I'm learning that HF air tools like this saw, the small bandfile and angled die grinder I bought have no power.

Anyone run SW headers and dump system (smog and noise concerns)

I want to retain the cats. I pollute enough racing two-strokes. Can I send you my tickets for driving around at WOT??

Cutting into rear bumper! Is it tough?

Yeah you actually own a good one! I bought mine at Harbor Freight and its a POS. No power and locks up regardless of air psi. I rarely use this on metal, mostly carbon fiber and FRP. Even then it barely does the job so I think its time to upgrade. I got one hole cut out last weekend. Hope to...

Anyone run SW headers and dump system (smog and noise concerns)

Thanks Wfo, I didn't realize that so I went to SW and checked out the install guide, sure enough! Rather than cutting the OE resonator I figured I'd just replace it to start with and see how that sounds. I've got a Corsa resonator delete pipe coming. I don't suspect it will get me what I want...

Cutting into rear bumper! Is it tough?

I have on of those as well but always forget about it because its buried in the lower drawer of my main tool box. Think I have some fine TPI blades also. Makes sense, I got the lights last night and looking at the template they provide the sides are curved.

Cutting into rear bumper! Is it tough?

Before I drill the first hole just curious if anyone and drilled, cut or otherwise created holes in the bumpers. The chromed bumpers on my old '95 Ranger were tough/hard. I'm installing some Rigid flush-mount LED floods and connecting them to the back up lights with a Starkey harness. My plan...

    The Tune by SVC

I just called into SVC today and had a chance to speak with Jeff. Very informative convo and he knows his stuff. I ordered one and can't wait to get it. I'm hoping it fixes the drive-ability is seems to have lost since I added the Roush CAI. From what I've read in 50-some posts here I get the...

Anyone run SW headers and dump system (smog and noise concerns)

Thanks for all the input guys. At this point I am leaning towards the Lighting cat-back system but we'll see. I was also trying to put something together that would allow me an upgrade path to headers but it seems tough as the systems are for either the factory connect or to the SW headers. I've...

Anyone run SW headers and dump system (smog and noise concerns)

So I drove my buddies Hellcat the other day (holy crap!) and it reminded me of how quite my Raptor is so its time to do something with the exhaust. I'm pretty much set on SW, either the Lighting system with factory connect or the full-boogie headers and dump system. I've read under normal...

    Roush CAI, 2010

They say things like that to avoid liability and the person answering the phone can't know everything about every part they sell. I would find a vendor who will accepts returns as long as its not installed. You'll only be out shipping if it doesn't fit. The filter is an oiled gauze element. It...

    Roush CAI, 2010

I didn't explicitly say it but was trying to convey that from my knowledge all 10-14 6.2L engine bays are pretty much the same. I was thinking you could compare the pics in that thread to your truck and that would give you enough info.

    Flush mount bumper

I've been looking for something like this as well. I live in the city and will probably never do any extreme off-roading that all these customer bumpers are designed for. I just want an "over rider" that follows the factory lines, helps protect the OE bumper from @ss-hats who can't park and...

    Roush CAI, 2010

Check out my thread here "Roush -vs- Banks CAI." Some members posted their installs. I don't think there is a engine bay placement difference on any of the components that would prevent you from installing. Compare what you have to the pics in my thread.

ARB AR32S Intensity 9.5" LED Driving Light Spot Beam

Is the front bar curved at all to match the bumper or is it pretty much straight?

    Roush -vs- Banks CAI

Well that was about one of the easiest installs I have ever done. Great kit, Roush really took their time to make it right. My only complaint would be the air box clip that hold the top on closest to the recirc tank; it doesn't quite clip in like I want it too. I added a strip of foam tape to...

    Roush -vs- Banks CAI

Hey guys, Planning to install this today. I remember when I did the S&B on my old Ranger you were supposed to disconnect the battery for 20 mins so the ECU could "re-learn" with the new air filter/flow. Is this necessary? I would think a modern ECU would learn a lot faster. TIA

    Roush -vs- Banks CAI

My Roush CAI delivered the other night. Very nicely made. The injection molding and material appear to be top grade. The parts are very well made and the install seems pretty straight forward. It could easily pass as OE parts save for the Roush lettering which is very low key when compared to...

    Roush -vs- Banks CAI

Not at the moment. Trying to find a system that exits behind the running board and not the rear wheel. Soon hopefully. I am sure its most beneficial to do them together so as soon as I can find something to my liking.

    Roush -vs- Banks CAI

Thanks everyone. I've got the Roush coming so I'll run that for now. A tune is in the works for sure but after I do the exhaust. For now I'll just have to be happy with the added intake roar instead of hp. I would expect to pick up a slight improvement in MPG but maybe that is wishful thinking!?

    Roush -vs- Banks CAI

Just ordered a Roush set up but forgot about Banks. I like these two kits the best but not sure I like all the advertising on the Banks. Has anyone ever compared the two side by side? I don't hear a lot about the Banks but I have to think those guys know what they are doing. I've had good...

KC HiLites Rally 800 -vs- Ford Perf KC lights

I am considering a front light bar and looking at 8" HID's. The KC Rally 800 and Hella Rallye 4000i Xenon are my choices. I have found the OE Ford Performance KC HiLites much cheaper though. They appear to be similar from the ones on the KC web site but a lot cheaper? Ford wants $954 for a set...

Recon Side Mirror Lenses - Install and Opinion

This is my first mod on my '14 Raptor. I read a lot of reviews online about the quality and ease of install on these Recon bits and was somewhat skeptical. I figured I'd try these out and if disappointed return or resell them. These are made in China so the quality is on par with price...
