Ya I used the knifeless tape. Its good to take a few small pieces and do a trial run first to get the hang of it.
The best video's I found were from the 3M guy in Australia
He has lots of videos and is straight from the factory

1st mod done
Hood wrap installed
The local vinyl guys wanted $500 to do it, so figured I could save $350 and do it myself. Much easier than expected. Of course I did watch 4 hours of youtube video's first
ADD Venom winch bumper coming soon!
Cutoff rear exhaust - warranty issue?
I want to cut off the exhaust behind the rear muffler(in front of the rear axle) to get some ground clearance. Will this void the warranty?

Thanks Raptizzle
The ranger at the dunes was begging me not to go out there cause so many people get stuck. The sand is very dry and much softer and thinner than Pizmo.
Just got back from 8 days in the southwest. Here are a few from the trip

Smiley rock trail near Jerome Arizona...did not see 1 person in 20 miles
This is the easy part that I video'd. Was too busy on the hard stuff to make a vid...
You can see the housing unload when it Clunks at one of the stops around 3 min. Housings does not seem to rotate unusually. Definitely something in the trans slip yoke binding.
Mine is so bad it clucks 2-3 times at a stop/start
Had them lube mine and only lasted 2 days. If I knew how bad and loud it was , I would have never bought the truck. Keeps getting worse every day.
Major flaw for an otherwise badd ass truck.
Looks like the branch hit the harness right on the frame supports acting like a knife on the back of it. Looked fine on the outside. Not a very good way to route the harness IMO. Going to look at making a protective shield around those areas
Going 20-25mph on a paved road in the redwoods. Saw a 4 inch diameter branch in the road and ran it over. Small bump and then engine died.
Traded relay on the fuel pump. Removed battery cable to try a reset. Tried on/off key reset. Cranks over fine...has oil pressure...3/4 tank fuel
I was driving my 2 day old Silver SCrew and ran over a 4" branch on the road and the engine shut off. Of course it was snowing and raining. Had to walk 3 miles to a phone...no cell service
Tried the ignition key on/off deal. Seems to be no fuel pump shut off button on the Pass side kick panel...
