Phasers are $3-4k repair, if they're needed at all.
My 18 has 111k+ currently.
Both CV axles, phasers and driver side valve cover are only non-maintenance work it's needed.
Order new oem shocks from rock auto ($2k) or get the existing rebuilt, they make a huge difference
I get this warning while driving in heavy rain, which I experienced today coming up through georgia.
It's happened 2-3 times that i can recall.
Don't use/like adaptive cruise so it's not used often but it worked fine in the rain while a highway patrol paced me.
The Borla systems comes with an X pipe and the muffler. So everything between downpipes and tail pipes after muffler.
I added the borla resonator as I didn’t like the X pipe sound. It sounds really good now. I have seen factory resonator used with borla muffler as well, search this site.
My 2018 OEM muffler had a baffle break loose in it.
Was told by dealer that it's not uncommon, and wasn't covered by warranty.
Replaced with a borla s-type and resonator 60k ago and have been very happy with it.
Mine have about 20k on them, 35s.
Wearing well, still smooth rolling, starting to get the raptor inner edge every-other lug cupping.
Been a little loud last few weeks but I need to bump up pressure in all four tires now that cooler temps have arrived, they were 34f/32r this morning when I...
I'm at 105k, with a pan drop and filter at 95k.
Way I see it, a new trans and/or motor is still cheaper than the depreciation of driving a new one off the lot.
The more I replace wear items on my 2018 the more I'm inclined to just keep running it.
I wasn't blown away when driving my buddys 2023...
That’s pretty much my line of thinking.
Factor in that the stock radiator and trans cooler were subjected to the same value engineering as the intercooler and it’s hard to imagine how cooling couldn’t be improved.
2018 with 103k, hot AF NC temps, driven pretty hard with mix of back road hustling and long road trips at 85+.
It's due for new coolant and my question is whether it makes sense to upgrade to a Full Race radiator and trans cooler at this time.
On recent 12hr drive in moderate temps the coolant...
Find an independent installer. I had a OEM soundscreen windshield installed for $480. No calibration needed (verified on 1600mi roadtrip), intaller says that a BS CYA invoice padding charge. My guy has worked @ safelite for 12 years and runs his own shop on the side. Took 40min in my driveway...
Drove it 13hrs from MA to NC following my sons graduation.
Raptor made quick work over the 3rd world northeast roads allowing me to gap traffic and trucks easily.
I've added 3k miles this month since rolling over 100k, such a joy to drive.
New windshield.
Raptor has gotten lots of love as it approaches 100k, which will roll over today on way to the range.
Ford performance diff cover & fluid.
Trans pan drop, filter and fluid.
Front diff fluid.
Transfer case fluid.
New ball joints in both UCA

99k. Only recently became noticeable and improvement was significant. Used Duralast Gold balljoints, which are servicable. UCA bushings were fine/no play. Don't need to replace entire assembly.
