I have one of those, that engine is awesome. One of the last manual non-limited top speed animals. Mine is currently for sale, only 1,880 miles on it, what a machine and yes that engine would have been great In a raptor.
I'm resigned to either a used R or maybe a 2025 one, if they are still making them. Getting one in 2023 or 2024 will be un-obtainium due to dealer ADM's, Glad that some can afford it but I have to get value for my money. I only hope to be there when they go out of business someday, just to...
Wow, that is God sent. Same type of thing for me, I called a dealer and someone had just backed out on the deal, so I bought it. Ford never built the one I ordered last June, so....
Same here, other kids look at them as if they are talking in another language. Same kids can't come up with an original thought it they had too. I feel sad for the future, looks like Atlas is shrugging right now. Ann Rand was way ahead of her time....
So if you have the raptor, go to the Raptor Assault school, it will enlighten you as to what your Raptor is capable of. If you get the TRX their off road driving school is......? hmmm that should tell you what the most capable truck is.
Hmmmm, here's a tin hat conspiracy theory for you...
it's simple, Ford doesn't like you, they don't need return gas customers unless you are buying an EV. Since their agenda is now the same as Brandon and demorats, they are really ok to Not build your gasoline vehicle. 2030 is coming and they...
Funny how the Kali libs never want anything in their back yard but are more than happy to take everything from everyone else. Money, Water, Power, Freedom. Opps, did I say that outloud?
Ok If I put my tin hat on I have a theory. All car mfgs, make deals with suppliers, saving a dollar or 2 on any part is a big deal to mfgs. I wonder if the tires that come on dealer vehicles have slightly more grip but wear faster. I have bought several new vehicles and the tires that came on...
only issues I have ever had were making sure the gasket has some oil on it, make sure the old one came off with the filter, it never comes off with the filter on my gt500. maybe check the threads on the engine, you can run a thread chaser on them to clean them up just to make sure. I have not...
Hey, I went in late April, had a blast, it was fun and the instructors were great. Got to drive a new 37, to compare to my 35. Really only diff was low speed rock crawl, an extra in is always welcome, but they had 35's on the same course last year so my 35 is fine. Anyway, just wanted to add my...
They have always been fiberglass composite. That is the weight savings that brings some of the performance in the raptors. Aluminum bonded panels and fiberglass make for a much lighter truck.
Same for me, if I drive it like a old man, I can get 17.7 but it is absolutely no fun, apply as little gas as possible, take your foot off the gas as soon as you see things slowing down. It maybe Ralph Nader safe but it sure does suck. normal driving is 14.8 ish. Only 3800 miles on it so it is...
we got an accessory kit when we picked up my son's maverick truck after a 6 month wait, had some useful stuff in it and it was free. Ford never built the Raptor I ordered back in June
I don't have one on my Raptor yet, but I will probably put one on. I have one, (Bob's) on my GT500 pass side, it produces 1,2 Oz per oil change. Oil in the intake will coat valves and more importantly it will coat any intercooler, reducing its efficiency. Warmer intake games will reduce power so...
