Found this gem today at the local stealership when I had my wife's car in. The owner wasn't there for me to harass. I guess the guy has too much money..
That is a great point Ruger. I guess DeLorme doesn't make red lens readable maps for civilians. I keep alternate light sources in the center console anyway if it came down to it.
If anyone is interested I ordered mine through the fellas at Crown Offroad. Firstly they are great to deal with, prompt service, and no issues whatsoever. I recommend doing business with them for sure.
As far as the lights go, they are really quite bright for being red. I was expecting...
And you know rule one is ALWAYS look cool! And as a fat kid I do love cake.
I know mine wont accept any cover because the rack sits on top of the bed rails as well as wraps over at a 90 along the inside of the bed. I had various covers on my old FX4 and I never really liked any. Other than the...
Hi Kahuna!
You and Mr. John Doe bring up a very valid point.
Now as it sits I don't have a cover and my light rack pretty much means I wont anytime soon. I keep it parked in my garage which helps too. (Honestly too I am really hoping to keep it there all winter and find myself a suitable winter...
MatMan that is a great set up and I think you stole it for the price he had listed it at on the other forum. I really like that and will probably go in that direction. Any other negatives other than weight? Anything you would change or want to see different? I am thinking now, I would push the...
I was thinking something similar to this one below. I found it over on the F150 forum. He had raptor wheels on it.
And to answer your question Rick, Yes just like the first two photos. I haven't seen them before and I though I have exhausted all google had.
However you want to call it, I know these items have been discussed at length in some form or another. I cannot however, find what I am looking for.
I have been looking for some time at every vender possible and most homemade set ups. Not finding what I want I am going to play around with...
Wfo just curious what dealership you use for your work. I live just down the road from you and typically do mine in Auburn. If they are replacing shocks under warranty I would rather go there. Not to mention I'm the only Raptor my current dealer ever sees.
Baja Designs Thanks I am really happy about it!
There is a bracket behind the mesh that will allow for the mounting of two pod style lights or I believe a 8" bar. I will have to measure to confirm that though. Problem will be the mesh cutting out a vast majority of the light. I was contemplating...
I wasn't originally going to go with mesh but getting it in the time frame I wanted and making it a Gen 1 that's how it ended up. I am probably going to cut them out and have it Line-Xed this winter.
I can't decide on lighting. I like the looks of two pods, probably Baja Designs something, but...
I bought a set of wheels and light from Rick in two separate exchanges. Both dealings were excellent.
After I had committed to the wheels he reiterated and sent along more pictures showing the true condition of the wheels. He didn't misrepresent them and try to blow smoke. He was forthright...
Put a big breasted woman in the passenger seat, sit back and enjoy the jiggle..
Had the same thing in mine. I felt it around 50-60mph through the truck not in the pedals or wheel. It could be so bad the rear end would hop. Alignment, new driveshaft, balanced wheels and shaft didn't fix it...
You beat me to it. I just posted about this in the backpacking section. I will go delete that one. Here is another article with the link to the maps in it:

I guess deleting is not an option, at least that I know how...
Thought some of you may find this helpful. When I am out I like to have hard copies of the places I will be. They are finally in a real easy to use format. Below is the short article with the link in it:

Carsten89 Hit your skid plate and it will be perfect. I have done my mirror reflectors, wheels, skid, bumpers and flares. The bottom edge of the flares where the road crap hits it has peeled off but all the rest has been excellent. Going on 3 years now.
Looks great on red, nice job!
HarleyGirl is that whip flexible or is it ridged? I was contemplating getting one or two but wonder about breaking it going under low hanging branches, garages or the like.
