I saw that you did. I was trying to figure out FB name with FRF name. There is the "Mid-Atlantic Ford Raptor Association" group you could ping as well. Those guys are pretty active.
As far as other prerunner types here in the North East I don't think there are any. Most our off-roading is slow...
hey c3855, I plan on making the Mammoth run. I will be coming from central New York. If you decided on that one, and depending whereabouts you will be leaving from we could link up en route. I'm going to post on some of the east coast FB groups to see if I can find any others. Sure makes long...
No issue at all brother. I was just trying to decide which trip I wanted to make it to, so that I could get my vacation time posted early enough to have it off.
Any update on this get together? I have a few vacation days left I want to spend out west raptoring. I was thinking of this trip or heading further to Carson City for the Monmouth run. I'm trying to decide either way.
I ended up hitting mine with a rattle can for the time being. I found a local guy with a CNC machine that may be able to make me something better. But this will work for now.
Stingray23 I am curious what you are doing about the center caps. Leaving them as they came? I am not really liking the silver ring. I've painted them black but I think I would like something a little more custom much like the other Method users have the option to do.
You're only 4 hours from Joe in Steubenville Ohio. He owns the Phoenix track. If I were you I would mail them down to him as he is probably the closest. Or if it's your daily or have no place to leave it up on jack-stands for several days I'd take the short drive down some weekend and have him...
Vash Good looking out! I bought four from 4 wheel parts. I went through EBates and got 5% cash back from them and I found a coupon code that allowed me an additional 10% off on the 4 wheel parts website. $153 total per wheel shipped. If you take into account the cash back it comes out to around...
That short bar will provide a good step to reach the top of your cap now too. Good thinking. By far the best rear bumper I've seen to date. If I can get my hands on a shop, that's what I would like to do. Well done!
I was thinking something like this...
I'm really liking that rear bumper. I like how the hitch receiver doesn't hang below the bottom tube. Your license plate will cover that expertly, and be there whenever you need it. Is the receiver and tow hooks flush with the leading edge of the tube? I imagine the receiver can be but the hooks...
Alright so I am in the market and about to get a set (4) of Roost. I have searched all the vendors and all the options that come up with a simple Google. Mind you I live in central NY and most all of the vendors need to ship from the west coast so my pricing may be different than yours. Below is...
The Northeast is a fairly large. Where or what state are you from and looking to wheel? May help us point you in the right direction.
There just so happens to be a part of this forum dedicated to each geographic region. You may want to start there.
He did say he liked them on the highway. Oddly enough another guy who is running Duratracs on his Silverado was bitching about how they would walk around on the highway and didn't like them. Probably more of a chevy problem than a tire problem as both of us really liked ours.
A guy I work with runs them on his Dodge 3500 35xSomethingx20 are his size. I have the Duratracs. Parked side by side they are identical in looks.
I know it's a different truck and driving conditions so not exactly an apple to apple comparison but I know he is super happy with them. We were...
BLM needs to hurry. I need to request my vacation time soon for the summer. I want to go west and check out some different terrain and country side. I was thinking a California run but after checking out the pictures and thread from 2 years ago where three of you did it. I am far more interested...
Thought about getting an ESP?
If you are I would suggest doing it before you hit the 36 to avoid the used vehicle mark up. For the price of semi-common problems like a blend door actuator I would take the gamble on it and get it. Unless you have no intention on keeping it very long.
