Thanks for the feedback. Looks like air bumps might make their way on my Rap later down the line.
I purchased the metal bump plates from RPG. If you're going to continue using the stock rubber bump stops you simply install the plates inwards, instead of outwards for the Fox air bumps.
What's the threshold for when you should get an upraded set of bump stops like the RPG/Fox combo? I am assuming it's to help your truck go even faster or perform more aggressive jumps more safely offroad?
I live in Florida and don't have the luxury of having the terrain that many of you have...
I just called Whipple to inquire what type of boost increase one would get with their Stage 1 Calibration, and they advised ZERO. They explained that since they work so closely with Ford, the target boost remains the same as stock, and all of the power and torque improvements are purely a result...
Curious, does anyone know if having a WOT line (UPR) on a catch significantly improve it's efficiency?
JLT doesn't have a WOT line and advised that it's really not necessary, while UPR, which does have one, says that it makes a significant difference in how much it collects.... ugh.
Enjoy!

Just a thought... so acceleration times drop after 40k miles, indicating power loss. I wonder if this adds any more validity to buying a catch can... ;)
discuss!
Has anyone been able to install the UPR Catch Can without modifying or trimming the engine cover?
I'm on the fence, as I don't want to modify the engine cover.
Possibly. Has anyone else done this for reference?
I can look into it and see if we can make an electronic module to enable this upon user input, either by adding a new dash button or using an upfitter switch.
Forget all these jerry rigged options...
I'm going to be releasing a new plug-and-play module in the next 4-6 weeks that will make the auto start-stop OFF by default. It will still retain full functionality, meaning you can push the button at any time to turn it back on and the OFF amber led...
Best way to clean this sensor? Assuming one would liberally spray some CRC mass air flow sensor cleaner on it? (Of course, ensure it's bone dry before reinstalling!)
Went to the dealer and they were able to successfully update the PCM and TCM calibrations to the latest version. Entire process took 45 minutes. The tech said he just hooked it up to his factory IDS computer and it immediately notified him of an available update. See the print out of the tech's...
I was just notified via the FordPass app that there's a new recall from Ford, shown below.
Recall Field Service Alert
Ford Service Action # 18N03
Desciption: Door Latch Freezing Concerns
I called the dealer and they said it wasn't mandatory or a safety concern. Something to do with this only...
After updating Sync to the latest version (v3.0) from 2.2, I just discovered that Ford decided to shorten the little box that shows your phone info on the home screen so that they can fit a little tiny heated steering wheel button in it's place. It looks stupid now and totally out of place...
I know there's been a lot of talk here about the latest PCM and TCM update from Ford... anyone know the latest revision/strategy number?
I'm heading to the dealer now for updates.
TIA!

Please share. We all want to know. Thanks!
Here are my thoughts...
Based on CJ Pony Parts Installation YouTube video of the S-type, I decided to purchase. In the video, it sounded pretty damn good. In hindsight, what was grossly inaccurate was the in-cabin footage. Their video didn't accurately represent the farty noises and drone. Nor...
