Uninstalled my Goosetuned and went to the dealership to get the 20-2423 TSB PCM update since mine has been eating some oil….man what a difference driving without a tune it’s like I castrated the poor guy
Perfect. In reading the TSB, it’s pretty straight forward to the PCM reprogram right? I was just talking to the service manager and he was thinking since it lists out the valve cover parts and stuff that they need to be changed as part of the TSB, but I told him no. I told him it’s pretty much...
Well now I’ve got an appointment next week to get the update  2 quarts on about 4k miles, consistent too. Did all the visual checks and looked for oil in the lugs during the last change.
@FordTechOne can you confirm that TSB 20-2423 is the most current one for me? I have a 2020.
Hmm well if that helped maybe it is in your system? My BMW has it happen pretty frequently, I just run a bottle of Ozium sanitizer spray for a while then let the system recirc for a while
Another thought may be your windshield washer fluid
About as concerning as it can be TO YOU. Lots of variables here, I’m at 36k on mine and no issues yet. Any car can have issues whether new or used or common or not. Not a dig at you but if money would be too tight to handle a repair maybe wait a little longer until it’s not so tight? Or purchase...
We just had our first but I can’t wait till his first car show!
It’s definitely the place to go, for everyone in the western Washington area it’s right by the Tacoma Mall, definitely worth a trip.
Installed! This is super nice! I’m having a little trouble getting it all lined up super perfect but I don’t think I can, just gonna have to accept a little it being imperfect (OCD).
So I had the same issue and it ended up being an alignment issue that caused exactly what @smurfslayer stated in #2. New tires and an alignment fixed it all.
It’s easy enough to stop at a AutoZone or something to get a free battery/alternator test. That’s probably where I would start given the age of the battery.
My Audi SQ5 does this every so often, never figured out if it was a “problem” though. Most people in the Audi forum attributed it to having the brake pedal depressed while turning off the car. Since then just made sure I didn’t do that and viola, problem hasn’t returned.
Haven’t had this in the...
I’d swing it by an AutoZone or equivalent and get the battery checked. Even though you’re showing it charged, it still may be bad or damaged internally somehow. That’d be my guess until someone else chimes in..
