GEN 2 2019 excessive oil consumption

I've got an 18 and it's burned oil the whole time I've had it, and I did buy new. At first it was about a quart every thousand miles, but since its worked its way down to 1/4-1/8qt per thousand miles. I've just been adding oil and it runs smooth and seems to be completely fine. Doesn't smoke...

Rusty water spots appearing on 1 wheel

I had something similar happen with an old f150 of mine, the water would leak out some holes and just cover all of the wheels. I just filled the holes on the backside with some silicone and it took care of it.

    2017 Steering Wheel Wear

You guys might try cleaning them. Something a little more aggressive than a normal interior cleaner. Dish soap worked into a warm damp rag can do some wonders on leather, and if that doesn't work degreaser will work as well, just be sure after anything more aggressive like this you use a leather...

    Ceramic coating

It’s pretty easy to miss spots when buffing off the high spots. You’ve either got to have your process of buffing it off very methodical, or have lighting that works perfectly for showing where you need to be buffing. Add to that trying to rush it to get to the next job, I can see how even a pro...

Wash info for fellow Mall Crawlers

If you’re looking for a waterless wash to work with cquartz, carpro(makers of cquartz) just released their own product called Ech20 that would probably be a better fit. Otherwise, whatever polymers that are in this other stuff will build up on top of your cquartz. Sent from my iPhone using...

Gloss Black or Flat Black Flares?

Paint probably wouldn't chip off of the flares if prepped properly unless it was hit with a rock pretty hard. The issue with the vinyl though is how good you get it on there, how smooth it comes out and then the life span of the vinyl itself. I think most nicer ones are like 7-year vinyls. At...

Gloss Black or Flat Black Flares?

I know this thread just got dug up, but this looked like a better place to put this. There's now a 3m Vinyl that's dang near a perfect match for the Tuxedo Black paint. I saw someone use it on another website. Here's a couple of pics. Just incase the pics stop working at any point, the...

New around here from DFW area of TX

Thanks guys, there's a lot of pluses I've found so far with the raptor. The comfortable factor would be really nice, as would being able to get it in my garage. Although my current truck looks like I use it Offroad, I don't really, except for a couple times in a little mud. I'm super picky...

New around here from DFW area of TX

I ordered the lift from the company directly, and a friend of a friend installed it. At one point the dude owned a shop in grapevine called outlaw Motorsports but went out of business a while ago. He put my lift on, then my friends(which he half azzed) then skipped town. He also got my wheels...

New around here from DFW area of TX

Cool, I'll be sure to keep my eyes open for a lunch. As for the current truck, lots of stuff lol. 7" lift from Precision Metal Fab using Icon coils and shocks, 4 link up front, and traction blocks in the rear. The usual diesel tuner, exhaust and intake As far as wheels and tires they're BMF...

New around here from DFW area of TX

Well, I guess I'm new here, but not to forums in general. Currently my forum browsing is spent on powerstroke sites, but it's about time for a new ride. The raptor is something I've liked since they came out, so I'm here to learn. Anyways, I look forward to studying everything, but for now...
