Ah, got it. Makes sense. Thanks.
From my experience there is no way to really confirm the dealer has an allocation other than taking their word for it. I was sold this promise of an allocation for a '21 order back in June and I never got a VIN. I re-ordered a '22 and now have a VIN & build...
If your truck is a '22 you can save the auto start/stop to the off position with MyMode. Problem solved!
On page 352 on the '22 Raptor owners manual it lists the following settings you can save in MyMode. They are:
Drive mode
Steering Mode
Suspension Mode
Exhaust Mode
Four-wheel drive mode...
Tracker worked for me too. Wow! It's the first sign of life for me from Ford since June when I started this process. I'm with MGSER... hoping this is something positive!
Are any of the tracker sites working for you guys? With all our build days next week I was hoping to see something on one of the sites, maybe even a window sticker.
8 hours feels excessive.
I used to live near you. Central Coast Four Wheel Drive did all my suspension work on my current RAM 1500. They installed FOX 2.5 shocks; front (coils) and rear, and had the truck aligned as the FOX front shocks leveled the truck. They were reasonable price wise...
I would think the Raptor is a 'specialty unit' and is not eligible per below from the link.
WHAT IS HAPPENING
• The Customer Order Verification Program (COVP) will be opening to all unscheduled orders on all vehicle lines (excluding Mach-E, Bronco and specialty units)
Just because you have a sales code and order number does NOT mean the dealer has an allocation. Ask me and many others on here, how we know this. All that means is the dealer submitted the order to Ford and Ford has accepted it. It does not mean they have an allocation. And that order will...
Were you really going to buy two Raptors? I assume no and that you were just trying to get one.
I completely agree that the process (if you can call it that) is terrible and leaves much to be desired. I ordered a '21 in June on day one of ordering with my local dealer. Never heard a peep...
Great question. The film my installer recommended is LLumar Air 80, link below. Most forums claim little to no issues with this and polarized sunglasses. But I'd love to hear from people on this forum.

Yes, I mentioned that in my post. But even with towels he said you could get some moisture down there. So he said better to ask the question on the forum just be be sure. This guy does most of the exotic cars in my area and has been in the business for long time. He's just being cautious...
I was talking with my window tint guy today about getting my windows done when my new truck shows up. I want to do a UV film (Air 30) on the front windshield. I've heard great things about doing this on large windshields in both hot and cold climates. And we see both extremes here in the...
I just got moved up to 1/24 as well. Not holding my breath either... BUT... that's only 5 weeks away if it sticks.
It sure does feel good to have a VIN and be scheduled after my June order for a '21 sat unscheduled clean for what felt like an eternity.
Same here... I've been checking since I ordered a '21 in June that never got scheduled. I'm tired of it all too. At least now we have VIN numbers. I started focusing, obsess is a strong word - LOL, on my garage and getting it organized, cleaned up and ready for a Raptor. Figure I've got...
