Mine followed the same path and was unloaded from the railcar pretty quickly, but then sat in that Dixiana, SC yard for almost two weeks which was also about 2 hours from me. You'll forget all about this once you have the truck though. But it sure stinks waiting with it so close.
When I took delivery of my truck there was a very strange looking metal key in one of the center console cup holders. It was long like a normal ignition key, but instead of a small hole at the end you grab on to to put on a key ring, it was wide open, like a backwards letter 'C'. I couldn't...
Just plugged it. A few of my local off road buddies recommended this kit (below) from NAPA. It was a whopping $5. It took two attempts with the plug because it was at a funky angle, but it's holding air. Thanks again everyone!!

I just added a picture to the original post. It's in the tread, but in an interest place. Can you plug a hole that's actually in the tread block like that? And if so, any particular type of plug or just what my local auto parts store has?
So as luck (or lack of) would have it, with only 323 miles on my truck I've got a screw in the tire tread and am slowly losing pressure. With a full size spare, what do you guys do in this situation? Plug or patch the tire with the screw and use that as the spare? Or buy a new tire?
Thanks!
Thanks for that.
I decided to try it for the first time based on all the positive comments on this forum. I hadn't seen that one yet.
It's been driven a lot in the rain and while the sides are dirty from tire spray, the hood and roof are super clean with no water spots at all. So far...
I felt like I got a great deal and I really like my local shop and the guy that owns it. And my truck looks amazing! In this area they get all the high end vehicle business for tint, ceramic coating, and PPF and have a rock solid reputation. They been very helpful so far with educating me on...
Ceramic Pro. I like that all their installers are trained/certified before they can use the product and I'm not sure about the value add, but it goes on your Carfax report too. I don't think others brands have that Carfax association.
I've been waiting just over 10 months to post in this thread. She's here!
And as many others have said before me, while agonizing, it was worth the wait. It's the most awesome vehicle I've ever driven/owned!
Llumar Ceramic; 5% tint on rear doors and rear window, 15% tint on driver/passenger door, and Llumar Air 80 on front window.

Tint $125 for front windshield, rest of cab $220
Ceramic Pro Silver 5 year. see link...
My dealer has my back. They requested pictures which I sent them. They then said to give it a try at home and if I can't fix it, they will do it. Can't hurt to try and it may save me from having to give them my truck for a few days.
You would think so… but doesn’t appear to be the case. That part in the picture got the worst of it, but there is some on the door and cab above that piece too. I’ll be happy if we can fix that small piece. I’m not going to have them touch the cab or door.
My truck has a decent amount of (factory installed) bed liner overspray on the lower right cab trim piece. My detailer/ceramic pro installer tried a little denatured alcohol per advice from local Line X installer and that did not work.
My dealer said they'd fix it as warranty claim. but was...
Update on mine... windows are done, final layer of ceramic coating going on today. Good news is it looks amazing, bad news is it the coating needs to cure for 24 hours so I can't pick it up until Monday.
Tracker still shows 'Shipped' LOL
Here she is:
Now that I have the truck (sort of - it's off getting ceramic coated) I don't know what to do with all the time I used to spend checking the tracker and bugging FP for updates. LOL
