I understand what you're saying and it's logical that there is a set standard the dealers are supposed to uphold. I'm not suggesting the OP attempt to "restore" his truck or that the dealer should be incited or leveraged into something illegal or unethical. I don't think the manufacturer...
Many dealers don't care about the collars or spring changes. I asked the dealers about this at the purchase of both of my Raptors. I was told by the SM's that it wasn't an issue. However, they both said not all dealerships will have the same policy.
If you don't like what they say, try...
To be honest, my new Gen 3 37 feels pretty much the same as my Gen 2 when I'm just driving around. The gas mileage is pretty much the same. The display says 16.5 mpg in town. I don't push the truck very hard in normal driving. I do run it fairly hard on unpaved and fire roads. Off pavement...
When I'm in Denver there are quite a few Raptors. However, I don't see many waving. I'm under the impression that other Raptor owners scope out each other's trucks kind of like the self absorbed, vain girls in a bar checking out other girls' outfits and appearance.
For me, no graphics, no applique. I had both on my gen 2 and always thought about removing them. There are plenty of choices out there. Pick what you like.

Not today but on Saturday. We drove to New Mexico and picked up these two. Eight week old Airedale Puppies. The tan & black is Puck. The all black girl is CoCo. Lots of Airedale bitey-face and general non-compliance to directions.
Question for the guys who have attended this year so far. Has there been any discussion about the lack of the Torsen diff? I'd like to know what the factory experts are saying about it even if it's just the "Party Line".
The 37PP and the 35 are geared the same. There may be some differences in the clutches and shift points in the 37PP transmissions. I've seen some stuff in writing to indicate this but I haven't found anything from ford to confirm it one way or another.
I loves my gen 2 and had plans to keep it even after buying another truck. I bought the gen 3 after it was stolen. I like the gen 3. I'm not happy about why i bought it but I'm happy with the outcome.
