1) Depends on your bed depth. The 14" rack will have 12.5" of clearance under it to the top of the bed sides. 2) Go for the STEEL Max rack for maximum strength.

Interior rattles are one thing I absolutely can't tolerate. Exterior rattles are ok, I can always close the windows. Which one does the Raptor suffer from.
