Definitely a common problem as I have it too. FWIW, they are not the B Pillars, they are a cosmetic portion of the doors. The B Pillar (Post) is the middle upper support for the body of the truck. These are fun to cut with the right tools........just sayin'. :)
Im sure they are. That truck has been there for quite sometime. I was working in N. Sarasota back in April and the truck was there and had been for a bit. I feel confident they are tired of sitting on it.
@WHYUMAD Im going for an oil change there on Wednesday for my Rap. I will also be in the area on this Monday running errands. If I can be of any assistance also, please let me know. Id be happy to help as well since I am off work due to injury at the present. 707 subs out their work to a place...
Ahh, I see. Now I understand why this has your interest peaked. Sarasota Fords custom shop, 707 Performance, has been subbing out a lot of vehicles with a ton of aftermarket items and covering every aspect of it. A friend bought a decked out F250 with suspension, rims etc and he's got a full...
Truck has been there awhile so they may be willing to deal. It’s been awhile since I’ve looked at it in person but if that’s your style, give it a shot. Again, been there awhile.
Dude, just buy the damn thing. If something happens, fix it and be happy or trade it after repairs. These hold their value well. I have a 2018 that I absolutely love. 7200 miles so far with no issues. Drove SUVs before and I will never go back.
As for the Service Dept vs dealership, understand...
I inquired about it online and the very next day I received further info. Coincidence, I’m sure. Once they had my name and email, I received updated info and actual correspondence from the folks in charge of the Assault program. They are also very good about keeping you updated on dates and...
Dates for this year came out last December. I went April of this year and had a blast. Depending on where you are from, it is a nice break from the daily grind. And the Instructors are patient and knowledgeable. Highly recommend!
I have a Ruby Red 2018 802a. I have the appliqué and the built in step. The appliqué is a must for me. It part of what the Raptor is. It is color matched with the bumper and fender flares. To me, it screams bad ass. But, that’s my humble thoughts. You have to do what you like for you.
With the mirrors appearing to be painted black, I’d be willing to bet the owner was trying to match the accents. It’s not like the mirrors are plastic coated. I personally think it looks good with the black mirrors. Relax, take a slow deep breath, and enjoy your truck. I get the OCD with such an...
Bruce, GO FOR IT!! I’ve driven SUV’s all my life. Currently I have 2018 Ruby Red 802a and I love every minute of it. I’ll admit, I knew nothing of the issues the Raptor was experiencing at the time when I bought my truck. That said and 7100 miles later, I would do it all again. Regardless of...
2019 shocks alone make for a better ride than the 17/18’s. Add in lower tire PSI and the ride is smooth. I drove a 2019 with 1200 miles on it during the Raptor Assault and I wanted to throw rocks at my 2018 until I lowered the tire pressure.
I drove a 2012 Denali prior to buying the Raptor so...
Bought mine without because I thought it looked cleaner and more intimidating. Figured I would add them after the fact if I wanted them.......for a lesser price. Mine is a 2018 and after almost a year, I added the hood graphics (OEM) thru a body shop at a much more reasonable price. Looks stout...
Sorry, dude. Life is short. If you’re not happy, we have nothing to change that. Buy what you want and enjoy it. No sense in bemoaning all the negatives. Oh yeah, is there anything about the truck you do like? I love my 2018 and can’t fathom driving anything else anytime soon, especially, after...
