I believe is its the stock "canned" tune that SCT puts on there it'll work. But if it's "the tune" by svc it's calibrated to the ecu numbers of the 14. Thus it will not work on your 12.
Warranty times pay shit for diag and repair in the flat rate world it's all about customer pay jobs. Not that that's a fair excuse to do a piss poor job!
Do you think it looks cool or gay? that's really the only person who's opinion matters. Your truck, your tastes. Hell there people out there that think big offset low pro bright orange wheels look good on their trucks. Personally I don't mind it. Kinda reminds me of the DURAMAX hood badges on...
I can see your discontent with all your problems. But I assure you working at a gm dealer, gm trucks, cars, suv's have the same issues. Dodge vehicles... well they are piles. Ford has its flaws too. It boils down to all vehicles are built with top quality parts from the lowest bidder...
Tear...
Good to know there's an HD kit. I only installed the 86250's I believe it was. They haven't allowed and slip or movement. But I did have one eccentric walk up the guide plate. Maybe i'll have to up grade
I'd be curious to know the make runner bar mounted on it. I might be able to find a little back ground info on her. A buddy of mine works at the Ford dealer I last saw it at.
Welcome! Terrain color? That truck have a pre-runner light bar on it when you got it. Very similar looking truck used to roam round where I'm at. Last I saw it was on a ford lot in the used section
Nice truck!
For thoes interested. These are the specs I ran with after going mid. I got my numbers from Pirateair's thread and adjusted them to my liking. Put 1000kms on since. Not experiencing any weird wear, no wonder or pulling. Decent amount of road crown round here.
I altered the specs sligtly to my liking. I think I printed off what I ran with. It seems to handle road crown nicely. I'll post up what I rolled with is I have the print out in my tool box at work. Very very close to pirateair's specs tho. Very close!
Nice little write up. I'm sure it will be appreciated as the cost of these lights to replace has about doubled in the last year or so! Looks like a cheap little preventive measure to save some cash and headaches!
