Sorry for the delay,
This completely seperate of the cobb tune and tuning hardware.
We use SCT Devices, below is a link to our tuner

So we raise the limiter to 210 KPH or roughly 130 miles per hour.
We've had quite a few trucks up at this speed with relative ease.
The dyno was 93 octane on an 85 degree day. That pull was the truck at full operating temperature.
Our Dyno is a Dynojet XD with a 48" 4000 pound roller.
The trailer is fine. We raise the limiter a bit, but do not remove it due to concerns of the speed ratings of the tires.
91 octane is no issue for us, I have a few guys in California using our tune on 91 without issue.
Our tune adjusts all modes, so towing is fine. How heavy of a trailer are you towing?
With every SCT Device the stock file is saved to the device itself before flashing, and there is always the option to revert to stock.
We up the boost a tad, normally 21-23 pounds depending on variables such...
Not much longer now.
Should be some time next week.
Below is a link to the free updater software for those downloading email tunes.
I usually call each customer once tuners and emails are sent to assist in the process.
If there is anything else I can do, please let me know...
At the moment from this post forward, we are doing 5% off for members for phone orders.
In order to get this discount, it is a simple process. Post to this thread a photo of your truck, and comment primarily what you use your truck for. Mention your forum name over the phone and you are good...
Have you scanned for any hidden codes after flashing?
Although I can understand getting the Whipple tune to work with the kit you purchased, our JDM Engineering tune will chirp the tires on the 2-3 and 3-4 shift from the instant you flash it.
Thank you all for the interest! We aim to please the gen 2 guys here!
Regardless of pounding a dirt backroad, or city stop and go driving, your truck will be perfect for the conditions!
All Gen 2 custom tuning we have done has been with SCT X4 tuners. As long as the battery is in good shape there should be zero issue with loading a tune if the tuner is up to date. In the beginning of Gen 2 stuff, the X4's offered no support, but that will change upon an free update with a...
So our tune does not do away with adaptive learning nor should it ever be augmented or eliminated except in rare and extreme conditions. Adaptive learning is needed to account for fluid viscosity change versus temperature, and shift behavior based on driving habits.
If the adaptive learning is...
So... to lock the transmission to skip shifts as noted could probably be done, how I would not think it to behave as intended for a few reasons.
The way the 10r80 is designed each gear change in numerical order is a single clutch being applied and released. At wide open throttle, no more than...
When we do a tune for a Gen 2 raptor, it is a custom case by case basis based on the years of R&D spent on these trucks prior. Although 2017+ Raptors are all 3.5's and 10r80's, the transmission and engine management can somewhat vary by year adding complexity to the mix. We have a firm grasp...
Although I cannot comment on COBB or MPT tunes personally, I know that we have the complete ability to tune all GEN 2 raptors engine and transmission as a pair regardless of build date. The white Raptor below came into our shop driven straight off the dealership lot. We then installed a...
After deliberation and careful consideration, the staff at JDM Engineering would like to give away a tuner to xrocket21!
It was a hard choice with a lot of good contestants!
We will be holding a sale on specifically Gen 2 raptor tunes for 1 more week.
If you are interested let me know, and...
3 hours left in the contest before someone gets a free tune or tuner!
This is for any Gen 2 raptor 2017 to current.
For 1 more week tuners and email tunes will be discounted by 100.00!
