I actually have two rims without tires mounted on them. I just haven’t got around to listing them yet. Was going to throw them up on for sale or eBay after TRR.
PM sent.
Nice - thanks for the tip. I'll def keep that in mind when I'm ready to buy a new set.
So, with a $300 per tire out the door price, then we're talking $100 for the wheel. Totally makes sense to me. I mean, that's practically free, +/- $100.
Price lowered.
FYI - lowest price for a new KO2 mounted and balanced is $300 when you buy a set (source: zombiekiller), so that effectively puts the wheel at $200.
Will throw in a solid handshake, a head nod, and spare tire sticker shown in the picture. No OPHJs though - gotta draw a line...
Can confirm as well - same tire.
I’ve got a couple take off Gen 2 OEM beadlock capable wheels for sale if you’re interested. Save you a couple hundred each over buying retail. Let me know.
Good points. I love the functionality and configurability of the rotopax system. Going to check out those and some Jerry van options tomorrow. Thanks for the input.
Did you look at using a 5 gal Jerry and smittybuilt mount? Dimension wise, it looks like it’ll fit and it’s a less expensive solution.
Just wondering if you looked at that option and ran into an issue or personal preference was Rotopax.
Is that two rotopax gas tanks stacked? Is that a standard rotopax mount? I wanted to go the rotopax route, but I want at least 5 gallons of gas and thought 3 wouldn’t cut it.
My racks are coming in tomorrow. I’m pumped. I’m a little worried that my 60” hi-lift is going to be too heavy for it...
I have one Gen 2 cast non-beadlock capable wheel with a new KO2 mounted and balanced. No TPS. It was a spare tire. It would be perfect as a second spare for off-roading events.
No miles on the wheel or tire. No damage.
I’m headed to TRR next week. I can bring it there or meet someone...

Thanks Nick.
A tip on scanners: I’ve used apps on my iPhone - Scanner Pro and Scanner App - to replace a scanner when I’m working on the field or at home. They use the camera on your phone and covert your doc into a PDF. We have a scanner at home, but the app is so much easier.
If you’ve been to Raptor Assault, could you scan and share the slides? There’s some good info in them that I’d like to share with my co-driver before TRR and I misplaced my copy.
Also, does anyone remember what tire pressure they recommended for off-roading? If you have a thought on the...
I wonder if it’s just the shop. The firestone shops I used had no issue doing my alignment each time I put in a new part (lift, adjustable track bar, new struts), even let me specify the specific non-factory parameters (toe, camber, caster).
Do you have any experience with going back to NTB...
I decided to pick up some RPG adjustable perch collars after seeing Nick's (Apollo Optics) stance with his perch collars, reading about other forum member's on-road dynamics (front not dropping so much when braking), and reading about improved off-road stance (higher approach angle, pre-loading...
Thanks for sharing. I’ll definitely make sure to change the EQ settings.
For those following along, I went with Infinity Reference - component 6x9 for the front (6x9, tweeter, crossover) and 6.5 coaxial for the rear. Going to take the panels off this week, install some knock-off Dynomat, and...
Piece of cake. The button swap to the hazard only button was a nice touch - I don’t like having a non-functional button on my dash. If you can find one on eBay or buy directly from Ford, it’s plug and play - some connector.
I disabled it with Forscan and replaced the button with a hazard light only button I bought online from a wrecked F150. You would never even know the truck had stop start.
Do you still have the second set available? Have you looked into shipping costs to 77009? The should be able to be packaged up and shipped by any of the main carriers.

Color me green. I’ll be there in the morning. I would’ve loved to have been able to make the dinner to check out the GT and what kind of goodies they put in that Raptor. I feel like one of the goals of this program is to instill brand loyalty for you, your kids, your kid’s kids...
