    There is a service bulletin on this - its the AC condenser drain tube that goes thru the firewall. The replace the straight one with a 90 elbow version. Ask your dealer about it.

    @FordTechOne I just noticed something.....my 2019 had a yellow B sticker on the coil, whereas it looks like the older non live valve coils had a blue B sticker. When Ford did the repair, my replacement coil has a blue B sticker. Are they the same part number?

    Update - coil replaced by dealer, all fixed. Initially they said it wouldn't be under warranty (4 yrs old and 66000km). I contacted Ford Customer Care and they covered most of it. I ended up paying 200 plus tax out of pocket

    The spring actually broke. You can see the remaining piece still on the shock collar, just below the "B" sticker. Here is a close up where it shows the point of failure. The main portion of the spring that slipped over was resting on the live valve solenoid wire, but I didn't see any...

    As I understand it, the 2019+ have a 3 stage system. Stage 1 is the Alert Stage 2 is brake prime Stage 3 engages the break. It came to a dead stop and wouldn't budge with his foot on the gas. Probably an isolated incident. You can also adjust the sensitivity of the system in the settings...

    Devils advocate for a minute.... - those buying in this price range don't care about MPG.. that said, the TRX mpg combined with the smaller gas tank is a common complaint on longer trips - if it's not going to be taken off road...and let's be honest here on the percentage that do....then nose...
