Now I'm kind of curious how many people actually use (or think they would use) this feature. I have two small kids who love Netflix/YouTube on their wifi only iPads. Their devices just get tethered to mine without a problem.
The conspiracy theorist in me thinks this could actually be a cost...
I'm convinced Ford built the Raptor exclusively for Michigan drivers, then word got out nationally...
You desert folks for should be jealous... Southwest terrain ain't got shit on MDOT, lol.
I’ve never understood this feature. My phone already has network connectivity, and I can also use it as a hot spot. All while not having to pay for another data plan.
If Ford is just copying GM, then whatever (what’s good for the goose...). But I simply can’t see myself paying even $10 extra...
Whoa whoa whoa. I heard the 2019 Raptor is going to include the GT engine, have an augmented reality HUD, actually brew Starbucks coffee, and put my kids to bed. Anything less is a complete failure.
I'm actively trying to work on turning in my lease early. The dealership will be easy to convince, my wife on the other hand...
Jokes aside, I'm sure I could do a lease turn in six months ahead (so September of this year), but my issue is I live in the midwest, so I'd take delivery of the...
I'm waiting on a 2019, but only because the lease on my current F150 isn't up until next Spring.
I have a deposit on an order with my local dealer, who said he expects the dealership to receive their 2019 allocations in early Summer. He said if 2019 follows the trend of 2018, they will able...
+1 on this opinion. Even the updates to the F150 line in 2018 were incredibly minor. New front grill, stamped "F150" on the tailgate, but the interior is the same and other options have remained mostly static.
Personally, I liked the grills on the 2015-2017 F150s more than the new 2018...
I tell ya, that color is really growing on me. It's definitely sharp. I've gone from red to white to magnetic. I'm sure I'll run the full gamut another couple times before my order goes in. ;-)
Hope you enjoy the new truck!
I have to agree. The max towing capacity for the SCrew is 8,000lbs, 6,000lbs for the SCab. Simply put, these vehicles are not designed to be towing workhorses -- So Ford may have viewed the trailer mirrors as a misrepresentation of the purpose of the Raptor.
That being said, if you can add...
timjitsu, I wouldn't even bother responding to the "keyboard tough guys". Trolls gonna troll, and nothing breeds vitriol like anonymity. If it were an in-person conversation, I doubt their opinions would be as stark.
Buy the truck. As others have mentioned, if it doesn't work out for one...
Welcome, and awesome truck. Did you have to pay extra for the 100k warranty or did the dealer throw that in? Curious, because I have a friend who's looking to buy used.
Interesting, I had heard the opposite. So what’s the advantage of the coating then? Other than, of course, scratching the coating instead of the paint.
$1,000 under MSRP is a great deal. After flight/hotel I would probably break even. But good to know under MSRP is becoming at least somewhat of an outside shot.
