I noticed that the factory BL rims are starting to pit and bubble after only 17K miles. Am I being unrealistic to think they should hold up a little better than that? Has anyone else had the same issue and did Ford do anything to make it right?

I got these made in orange to match the interior accent from Rappy Graphics before his forced hiatus. Glad to hear they are coming back soon.

Not sure. I have driven it only minimally in 4A and no issues. I have it scheduled for repair.

My 18 just started doing the same thing this week. It is apparently cause by the IWE system. The Integrated Wheel End (IWE) system is what locks and unlocks the front hubs when you change back and forth from 2WD and 4WD. Try putting it in 4WD. It should stop the rattle until you get it serviced.

Maxemus has a Leadfoot Gray truck with a black roof. It's not Magnetic but maybe you can get an idea based on his. It looks great on is. There are pics posted on the Lead Foot Gray Haters Only thread. Hope that helps.

I believe it is for those of us that have the tailgate step to ensure alignment .

Mine is brushed aluminum around the center console and all of the air vents. If you're talking about middle area around the radio and info screen, then yes that's plastic. My bad if I was confused as to what you meant.

The Orange accent package comes with brushed aluminum trim. Only reason I mention it is because Ford already makes the pieces. Maybe you can get them from them.

If it's discontinued, all the better. Then maybe the haters who picked "safe" colors like Ford's Shitty... I mean Shadow Black will go away. Hopefully Agate Black will be a better.

I have the Orange Accent interior and went with a little Orange on the outside of the Leadfoot to tie it in.

Same thing happened to me. They did the tailgate applique delete during the order. I caught it. They said they fixed it (BUT DIDN'T). I had documentation that showed they screwed up. They said they thought they could get the right tailgate but I didn't trust that the same knuckleheads that...

SAME THING happened to me! I specifically told dealer not to delete! I refused delivery. If you order a 70K truck it should come the way you ordered it! Sucks that I have to wait for a new one but they are compensating me.

Thanks. It was hard to walk away, it's an awesome truck. I'm sure it will go to a good home. I just think that for 70k you should get it the way you ordered it. GM at dealership is calling me tomorrow, hopefully I can get fast-tracked on another order.

Got the call from my dealer today, Raptor just rolled off the truck. No tailgate applique' because of dealer order screw-up. Went to see it. Leadfoot looks great, the stamped tailgate doesn't. Not accepting delivery. To say I'm disappointed is an understatement. :mad:
