Transport recommend needed, IL to AZ Screw

have him get a uship.com quote. I used that a year ago to ship a vintage mustang I bought for my mom from OH to CO. Ended up finding a private hot shot guy who was coming through there and here. Covered was $1100 I think.

The heat is on for the raptor

I just went through and built one with all the stuff my Raptor has (everything but carbon trim package) and it came out to $97,850. Holy shit that's a grip of cash for a truck. I'd consider one once they're on the used market with 30-50k on them, and they get all the bugs worked out. I'm sure...

    Quick Colorado Trip

We just went and camped up off Georgia Pass. Lots of dispersed camping in the area. NO FIRES, so if you do want something you'll have to get a propane fire pit. I got one at Lowe's and it's actually pretty nice. You can't even smoke outside if you're a smoker, so no cigars for me. It's that dry...

    Shop recommendation in Denver CO

These guys were going to do my Eibach springs for $200, but I got antsy and did them myself with two sets of the autozone spring compressor tools. Give them a ring. https://www.jazzituptruckandauto.com/

At home DIY ceramic coating...save some cash!

This stuff? https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07D2DHRDL/?tag=fordraptorforum-20 And yes, ceramic won't protect from scratches. I'm always shocked when I hear guys say that.

how to hard wire dash cam

I tapped my radar into the mirror wires. I can't remember which slots you tap into, but assuming you just need power/ground you could likely use something like this and splice your power into the little tap guys. They plug into the clip. Might be able to just find the taps somewhere...

My truck in shop and dealer isn't giving me loaner. Options?

Ford is hoping you'll just suck it up and deal with it. There is a reason the luxury brands handle this stuff differently--most guys who buy those have access to good legal representation. Ford is just playing the numbers game and hoping most owners won't take it that far.

My truck in shop and dealer isn't giving me loaner. Options?

I think it's long past time you call an attorney. Time for some real pressure. They take the case on a contingent/fee-suspended basis. Worth getting that going as they clearly aren't in a hurry to make you whole.

    Changing Thermostat

Coolant is an easy water clean up. Change it out and then just hose down the whole area before you start it. Don't tell the EPA.

    Factory Running Board Touch-up

There is an aerosol based bed liner called Raptor Liner (coincidence in name). Used a ton in the muscle car restoration world as an undercoating. My 68 has it all over the underside plus inside the cabin. You can order it online (amazon) or get it at O'Reilly typically. Looks very similar to...

    GEN 2 B-day coming up...wife needs ideas

Ended up getting a highly modded Slash 4X4 myself (which I'm not having slipper issues with, to the hobby store later). Told the wife I really wanted a rear diff skid, so I went with the @KrazyHouseCustoms @Steve Miller unit. They're even going to paint it race red to match! Thanks all!

    GEN 2 B-day coming up...wife needs ideas

Just something to jack around with. 4x4. I hear lipo brushless is the way to go, but I'm not trying to spend a ton. I saw someone post about that Traxxas is junk now, they were king of the hill back in the day, but I'm just looking for good bang for the buck. I like that Arrma Granite (not the...

    Auto Transport Company

I've used uship.com before. You'll get a bunch of bids. Give it a day or two and the solo guys will chime in. I found a guy to bring a vintage Mustang from IA to CO (covered) for $900 and he was happy to do it as he was already going from IN to CA with something else. Big biz right now with used...

    GEN 2 B-day coming up...wife needs ideas

What do you recommend? I’ve been looking at RC trucks! Went down that rabbit hole yesterday. I will not race it. I’ll just jack around with it when we go camping and such. Looking for easy. Found the Redcat 4wd lipo trucks and an Altair truck with lipo charger etc for like $180. I don’t need...

That's a great idea...I had a nitro one back in the day, I hear the Li ones are really sweet now and a lot less to deal with.

Is Anyone Using This ProClip Mount

I have a few of these, and really like them. I have the mount part on the vent to the left of my screen at the bottom right of the vent and it works perfectly. If you use the round metal part on the top part of your phone by the camera lens it doesn't mess with the wireless charge. Much cheaper...

    GEN 2 B-day coming up...wife needs ideas

Gentlemen (I use that term loosely, @Oldfart and @smurfslayer ) :D My bday is in a few days, and like most of us...I buy everything I want, when I want it, so bdays and holidays are tough on the old lady...she enacted a buying freeze after Halloween for this very reason. I have a 2018 with...

Tonneau covers with roof top tent?

You could do one of those rack things that holds everything up off the rails however far, but man they're proud of them. Not sure if it'd be high enough to clear a hard flip cover though, may need to change to a roll up type. My buddy with a big rubicon has one and he finally sold it and went...

Rocky Mountain graphics FORD inlay (Colorado folks)

I have enough fan boy CO stuff, but I think I saw you the other day. I remember liking the flag you have on yours. I wave at other Raptors like I wave at other bikes when I'm riding :3638400157_e7de35b0
