So just to make sure I understand this fully. The Raptor with 35" tires will accept 37's but in order to have a 37" spare, I must use a KO2 tire? Will a KM3 also fit? And are those my only two choices due to tire them being smaller 37's. Correct?
That helps. I got to admit. I was shocked to hear the guy there tell me they like collars way more. I did not expect to hear that from them or the dealership. And I think you are right. Baja HQ spring choices where bring your own...
They both just kind of said, collars where the way to go if I was just looking to level it. If I wanted a big lift, springs were ok. IT seemed they both felt that for leveling only, that keeping the OEM spring with preload collar was a better option than just adding springs up front.
Yet I...
I keep coming back to this thread because Baha HQ, RPG and my dealer all suggest collars vs springs. I can understand why RPG (literally next door to me) suggests collars since they don't make springs. But I was thrown off that Baja HQ said they have less issues with collars. The dealership also...
DONT DO IT. Get DR color chip instead. Its a gel like based paint with clear that dries as if you never had a chip mark. OEM paint touch up typically just colors the chip, but does not level it. Trust me. Dr. Color chip!!!
I just purchased a 23 35" raptor and thought I needed to level it. I took some measurements and my front is only .5" lower than the rear. To that end, I suspect a leveling kit or front spring will bro nose my truck. No thank you. I also installed the husky liners on my raptor. What a nice...
Psst. They are the 2nd nicest Ford Raptor OEM out. They are also the lightest. The nicest OEM Raptor wheel would have to be the 19-20 double spoke 5 stars IMO.
Oh well. Its only money. Who cares. You got what you wanted and as long as you are happy, that's all that matters. Besides, its only going to get worse. So in a way you still came up!
I was leaning that way. But I dont like the fact that the eibauchs are linear. I also dont like the fact that I am changing the suspension up front only. Seems like it would be mis matched if I went hard offroad. Which leads me to do the pro kit with springs front and back. That makes more sense...
NICE.
I wish I did that. My son is currently serving on his first combat deployment. Once he gets back, I am totally going there to open an account. I think I need some ID # of his to open one. I look forward to becoming a member!
I will try this later to make sure it wasnt me. I did have a couple beers before trying them...lol. Ended up walking away feeling defeated only to see my side lights were on and not turning off. That took me 10 minutes to figure out what button caused that. Too many freaking buttons!
Me too. But 7.1 is very high bud. BOFA is offering 5.9 on there website. Since Ford will not finance a Raptor, I went directly to my banks and got my own loan. It took all of 30 seconds to apply and be approved. This allowed me to negotiable the price of my Raptor and not have to play the...
Hmm. New Gen3 owner here. My 23 raptor AUX 1 is my inner lights which appear to be fog lights judging from the light output beam. But my outer lights do not turn on at all. The head light dial is in AUTO (I tried manual ON too), truck is running. Pressing the button in the middle of the head...
