Hey all, about to head out on my first significant off-road trip and I’m getting my recovery gear together. Had a couple questions. Are the factory tow hooks on the stock bumpers strong enough to withstand a snatch strap or do they need an upgrade? Also, I’m not at a point where I feel I need a...
I was curious of the same and so I flashed back to stock drove to town and back, about 12 miles. Then flashed to stage 1 OTS with dynamic pedal control at 0 which is stock. Still noticed a bigger kick in the pants just the same dead spot on initial throttle tip in like stock. I would say that...
Actually, you can change the dynamic pedal control with the access port on the fly too. There’s no reflash. Same with the auto start/stop disable.

My 6 year old daughter has been obsessed with my Raptor since we got it. So, picked up the LEGO version that we put together last night. Actually has 4 wheel independent articulating suspension. Looks like it has perch collars with +3 deavers LOL!

On the other hand, it’s easy to get stuck in the trap of rationalizing to wait for the next generation for what it might be. The next generation of every vehicle will always be a little faster, more features, different looks, new tech, etc. These gen 2 trucks are so good I promise you won’t be...
It’s pretty frustrating then that they would publish a statement which makes it seem like no big deal if you take them out. Based on the statement I assumed they were simply noise cancellation devices.

Just curious but did you reach out to Cobb directly and ask? Because that is the exact excerpt from their install instructions and why I removed mine because I wanted to maximize the intake noise. Haven’t had a single issue over 2500 miles so far.

Yeah I thought I read on here somewhere that most of the driving days actually wrap up around 4-430ish. Probably pushing the envelope a little too much even if that’s true.

For those that have done the program already, would booking a return flight at 5:45 pm from SLC after the driving day be cutting things too close? Never flown out of SLC and don’t know how easy it is to navigate/how much time I need to give myself to get through security and rental car return...
That video was so well done. Owner was honest and STILL bought another raptor because it really is in a class of its own. My 2018 SCREW is hands down my favorite vehicle I’ve ever owned. I think the idea of a gigantic V8 is great in the nostalgic sense but with the weight savings of the eco...
Not afraid to get some welding done. My biggest complaint with the handling on this truck is the axle hop/axle wrap. Smooth that out and I think it’ll be a huge improvement. Could y’all recommend the best approach to level the truck and complement the track bars? Not looking to go too crazy...
Has anyone installed a set of these? I’m definitely in the 90% on road 10% off group and I like the idea of decreasing axle hop as it is very noticeable. Just curious if you lose much ground clearance or if it affects the ride quality negatively.

Agreed. It’s a smart way to approach it. Gives the consumer options for how much they want to push it/risk they want to take.
