    STOP the HOP!!!

They won't handle off road use, it would damage the bars and brackets. You have to remove them when there is going to be any side loads or twist. It is incredibly easy to remove just the bars and then you can go off road!

    STOP the HOP!!!

Not required but I would say it's case by case pending age and if they were ever removed and reinstalled before.

    STOP the HOP!!!

Wheel Hop, Axle wrap, tire chatter, whatever you want to call it...it's beating the death out of your drivetrain. Broken drive shafts, bent axles, damaged differentials and transmissions are all possible results from having issues with wheel hop. When the tires spin under hard acceleration and...

    Need Help with Performance Chip

Chips are a much older technology that I'm not really even sure is available for the newer PCM's. I think Jet does a plug and play chip but I'm not sure, and they aren't worth the time for discussion. If you want a good custom tune by a shop with a ton of experience on Supercharged 6.2...

    Progress on my whipple install

No need to change the tune up for that. The computer will sense the load and hit the appropriate timing and fuel tables. 3.375" is plenty safe! JimIII

    Progress on my whipple install

We don't like going past the 3.250, some have gone to the 3.125 or 3.00 even but that's risky business!

    Progress on my whipple install

We ALWAYS use the whole bottle. The middle of the sight glass is the minimum level line, a little over won't hurt. I would recommend putting the rest of the bottle in.

    Whipple vs roush vs hellion

We didn't notice the change to the 60lb injectors until just last year. We only order the tuner kits and utilize the 47lb injectors in our kits so it went under our radar. We did notice for sometime that our customers would relay to us that even Whipple recommend 47lbs for tuning reasons. Any...

    Whipple vs roush vs hellion

I'm not sure the numbers, MTF seems to know he should share. But we did ask Mike at Whipple as to who sells the most Raptor kits and he said we have sold over the past 5 years more than any other shop combine... My guesstimate at 50 is probably low, but I was more making a point that our...

    Whipple vs roush vs hellion

Thousands?? I don't think there is even 100, maybe 50 Raptors that are running a Whipple kit with 60#s and they're tune. Whipple told us point blank we sell more Raptor blowers than any of there dealers combine! We order all our kits from them as tuner kits and send out 47# injectors and our...

    Whipple vs roush vs hellion

Whipple is using Deatschwerks 60# injectors in their stage 2 kit now and we've been getting a lot of calls about re-tuning trucks because of driveability issues. Once we switch them to 47# injectors and our tune they rave about how well the truck performs. Whipple makes a kick ass blower, we...

    Whipple vs roush vs hellion

Roush = 2.3L TVS Whipple = 2.9L Twin Screw The TVS charger is very efficient in the low-mid range power band and efficient for up to 800HP. The Whipple 2.9L since it is larger in volume can produce more power. It has an efficiency range of about 900-1000HP. The Whipple's low-midrange power...

    Whipple vs roush vs hellion

Turbos do make more efficient power but often the combinations are more difficult to tune properly for good driveability. It takes the fun out of owning a 600+ HP vehicle. On the other hand a Supercharger makes very good power and instant TQ which is what you want for a 6,000+lb truck...

    ARH quality?

Well you don't want it to become a problem so I would remove the cats. You can have an exhaust put a straight pipe in place or I would recommend putting a set of Kooks Green cats in. They are better constructed for high power levels and are emissions legal. They use a honeycomb style center...

    ARH quality?

The cats have been known to come apart and clog in the Y section and/or damage your muffler. I've seen two trucks where this was evident and 1 truck was Roushcharged and it lead to a failed motor. ARH uses a spun metallic converter that will not support much more than 500 HP. It will come...

    MetroNYC New Power Numbers!!!

I've never had this issue and we've sold hundreds of sets of Kooks headers...It's the only header system we sell!

    MetroNYC New Power Numbers!!!

Gabriel brought his Raptor in for some new tuning and to help fix some exhaust leaks on his ARH system. He had been chasing the exhaust leaks for some time and had another shop attempt the job but no luck. We pulled the headers down and discovered the weld that held the tubes to the flanges...

Roush s/c low power on dyno

The Dyno in use we are not familiar with for power numbers. Most of our vehicles from overseas we also leave with a more mild timing curve due to difference in fuel quality. This it to keep your motor safe. I don't know how much power the truck would make on a Dyno jet like we use here but a...
