Your making a lot of assumptions about what I may or may not be saying based on telling people to get the warranty. The fact that you don't understand the difference between ripping parts off your truck and wearing parts out with use tells me that you are not who I'm talking about here. But yes...
Just be careful on the random websites. Some are selling Whelen knockoffs and passing them off as Whelen. Customers aren't finding out until they send them to Whelen for warranty work. If you find a to good to be true deal on supposed new lights I wouldn't trust it
When I sold warranties on motorcycles in PA they had 100% markup. So if the warranty was 500, actual cost was only 250 and 250 was profit. EBay kinda killed that though with random dealerships selling the same warranty for 300. Also, who cares If the dealer makes money, dealers need to...
Same here... In fact Night Raptor is in the shop right now getting all fixed up. We try and save up the little non important stuff for when we actually do need something fixed as the dealer only charges us the $100 deductible per warranty work visit, not per item.
Thanks for the suggestions guys. We're having twins and pursuing adoption, so three across is what we'll have in the next couple years. My Raptor is a Scab, Yukon's is a Screw. Here is another question, buy 2 seats and move them if we take the other truck or buy 4 so we don't have to deal...
So I looked and there are 100 people who participated in the raffles by PayPal only, haven't looked at Averys site, but I'd bet at least another 100 if not more.
All the talk about South Dakota has me reminiscing..

I agree with lab that it would be tough to recommend against tires, but I definitely agree with your last statement. I did not like that video at all, very unsafe.
Wow, somebody is awful sensitive. Actually I do have first hand experience with Plastidiping our skid plate and bumper and such and it didn't hold up for crap... I don't think its the same as doing the whole vehicle and didn't say that it holds up like crap on a vehicle, did I? Maybe Kanakry...
Dan we use a pressure washer on our trucks, we even spray them off at the car wash. Only problem I've seen is the roof on night raptor had started to peel up because its a 12 with the stupid ini roof, so now the automatic car wash is making it worse because the spray nozels are so close.
I think it might be good to note that we know someone that had his truck plastidipped for about a week before he pulled it off because of the staining after Havoc. Hell with some of the crazy environments we get into, Night Raptor has a couple spots of staining on the vinyl, not to mention all...
Funny, I thought Arkansas went really well, it was one of my favorite runs with the watering hole and all. I haven't heard anything negative from anyone but you. Just shows how far attitude goes, i guess. Don't bother explaining as I've stopped giving a crap. Either way, keep your...
I feel like a parent who's kids throw a party when they go out of town, lol. This thread always pops up when we are away, you guys must miss us.
Official statement from Night Raptor 1...
We really want to make this run happen again this year.
However... The timing just doesn't seem like it...
Burnt connection for the fuel pump in the fuse block. Truck kept stalling day 2 and 3. They bypassed it so we can get home..scared the crap out of themselves with the train horn..lol
