I'm not sure. I'm coming up on a year with the setup and still haven't changed the filter. I've put less than 10k miles on it so I don't think it's time yet. The only issue is when it in the cold, the system makes some noise until it warms up. other than that, no issues and hopefully the...
I ordered mine new in 2013. As of today I've got 50,500 miles and plan on keeping it. Mine has been used. Not as hard as some and harder than others.
I've had the following, common, issues:
New Steering Rack
Entire new rear glass and slider
Replaced all the IWE hose with Silicone after break...
Here's a few pics of my completed installation. This is a Kartek reservoir is a compliment to my brand new steering rack. I had one hell of a time getting the old hose off the pump. I ended up cutting the old hose off at the pump nipple and cutting the clamp off with a Dremel. I would love...
Thanks for the info.
I ordered the two additional fittings:
1) Fragola AN -10 Black Anodized Aluminum Series 8000 Push-Lite 90 Degree Bent Tube Hose Ends
1) Fragola AN -8 Female To -6 Push Lock Hose Black Anodized Aluminum Reducer 90 Degree Hose Ends
I’m hoping to reuse the stock hoses and...
My truck is in getting a new rack today. I purchased this reservoir and will be installing soon. It looks very similar to the GJ setup, but much cheaper.

Mine's leaking now as well. Though it was the hose at first, but I pulled all the skid plates and pressure washed the undercarriage and rack and I'm pretty sure its the rack. Both boots have fluid on them and there's fluid around where the steering shaft enters the rack. I'll replacing the...
My passenger side IWE let go at the start of a 1000 mile road trip. I pulled the vacuum line and finished the trip. After reading every thread on the IWE, I’m disappointed that ford handicapped the Raptor with this terrible system. I think I’ll be going the RCV elimination route. Should the...
My stock BFG's are worn out and I want to buy the tires you did . I'm on mid perch in the front so a little more clearance. Any noticeable changes in acceleration or braking? I will also be keeping the stock wheels. Truck looks great.
I got the dielectric grease and found the connector. I was not able to get it apart. Any tips? I can't figure out why these connectors are so damn hard to get apart.
The best part of my Raptor is that it's paid for and at 40 yrs old, that would not of been possible for ME without College. I don't work in the field in which I have the degree, but it opened many doors for me.
BTW, I live in Phx and am ASU alumni. Go Devils!
Wow, great info! I did the backway to Crown King and there was a little water that day, and my truck has been in deeper water and tons of mud earlier in the year.
Can someone link me to some dielectric grease they are happy with and I'll order some. I'm planning on maintenance next weekend...
I had similar issues over the weekend. I put the truck in 4 lo to crawl a loose and rutted hill and was unable to get it back to 4HI or 2wd. I would shift to neutral and move the selector to 4HI or 2wd and the drive train would stay in neutral. The display was showing the SHIFT DELAYED PULL...
X100 on the Rough Country plate and Amazon is a great place to buy it.
I apologize in advance for pimping my own thread. I hope it's helpful :)

Good point, but I think the max is much higher than 50. Also, the lower rolling resistance may keep the tire from flexing as much so the heat generated may be about the same. It's only 6psi more than stock.
I usually air mine up to 50psi for long highway trips to help with mileage. I was seeing 15.9/16.1 from PHX to LAX at 80ish. The center tread on tires is noticeably more worn than the outer treads from doing this, but I'm not too concerned. After 2.5 yrs, I'm only at 20K miles. They will be...
